Good price for a two-lamp ballast. Simple to install. Still works after a few months. We'll see how long it lasts. Made in China.

Good quality and price yes I would recommend to anyone instead of replacing a good light fixture . They could easily repair it.

If you bought fixtures that use these at a certain orange hardware store you probably have already realized that the ballasts are crap. I bought two ceiling fixtures with them and both died within a week of each other. One of those lights was already a return/replace. These replacements from Amazon have been in for three months. Easy to swap in. Working as expected. I hope they last longer than the originals.Update: The purchase referred to above lasted less than 3 years. As it was failing I swapped in new bulbs which didn't affect (non) performance. I ordered a new ballast and at first it seemed to have a different problem using the old bulbs. To be certain I then put in the two new bulbs and everything has been fine for several weeks so far. So the old bulbs were also failing. Given the alternative of replacing the fixtures, replacing the ballast is a tolerable solution. Note that the new one had a different finish which may suggest a different source with different performance.
