Overview and Dimensions
Designed for 3 or 4 T8 fluorescent lamps. The ballast features a maximum case temperature (Nom) of 70°C. The Instant Start Electronic Fluorescent Ballast features a Sound Rating of A category. Housing dimensions of the Electronic Ballast constitute the following 9.5-inch x 1.3-inch x 1.0 inch and Lamp Rated Watts of 32 W.
Operates the following lamp types:
- F32T8 - 3 or 4 lamps
- F25T8 - 3 or 4 lamps
- F17T8 - 4 lamp
- F40T8 - 3 lamp
Wiring Diagram and Specifications
Wiring specifications of the product constitute a Wire Gauge (Nom) of 18AWG mm and Solid Wire Type. The Lamp connection of the ballast is of Parallel type and features a Wire Strip length of 0.50/0.375mm.

Replaced a 2 bulb light holder. Best used with push in wire connectors. Still works as it should.

With a quick utube video & no experience installed this myself in 30 min.Wires on ballest already prepped to connect (wires stripped )Would be nice if it came with wire nuts to easy connect to old wires but I had some on hand .Got this next day from ordering !!!Thank you !

I lost my ballast in the light fixture in my kitchen. It was likely installed when the house was built in 2003. This unit was an exact size replacement for the original. I chose an instant start model, vice a program start, which makes it use a little more electricity to keep the bulb ready to light quicker, but it operates like an incandescent bulb and is instant-on.While I was at it, I upgraded to extra lumen LED bulbs, wired for use with a ballast (many require you to remove the ballast when upgrading - be sure to read closely). I was always considering replacing the fixture, since it didn't put out quite enough light, but the extra lumen bulbs fixed that.All wires are standard color codes and leads had plenty of length for 48" bulbs. Took 10 mins, start to finish and I had the wife happy enough to get to watch the game in piece :)Disclaimer: I often review items I received at no cost for my honest, unbiased review. HOWEVER, for this item, I am an actual user who purchased this item with my own hard-earned money. If I gave the product 4 or 5 stars, it is because I was pleasantly surprised with the product. If I gave it less than that, I will tell you exactly why and what problems I encountered. Unless noted, this is an initial review from using for a limited amount of time, and not full blown lab-grade controlled testing. YMMV. I hope you find it helpful, though.

The ballast works and was a direct replacement for the failed part.The packaging appeared to be in good condition as did the shipping materials, however the mounting ears were badly mangled on both sides of the unit. This doesn't appear to be shipping damage based on the packaging. I was able to bend them back into place to install in the fixture. I'm hoping the damage is just to the ears and the internal components are all ok.
