I recently purchased the PetSafe UL-275-67D In-Ground Deluxe Ultralight Collar for my cat. Overall, I’m impressed with the quality of the collar. It’s well-made, durable, and seems to be very effective for its intended use. The design is sleek, and the material feels comfortable for my pet to wear.However, the collar is slightly larger than I expected, especially for a cat. While it works well for dogs, it doesn’t quite fit my cat as snugly as I would like. It’s not a dealbreaker, but it’s something to keep in mind if you’re planning to use it for a smaller animal like a cat.Despite this, I’m still happy with the purchase and think it’s a great product for those who have larger pets. Just be aware of the sizing if you’re buying it for a cat. Four stars because it’s great, but not perfect for smaller pets.

My husband and I live on 1.25 acres in a subdivision, and we where looking for an alternative to having to buy a lot of fencing. This containment system was perfect for us! We have had it for years, and recently got a new puppy and needed a new collar. I love that you can add more than one collar to the system, and that it is super easy to set up!They have all different sizes for different breads of dogs, and they system works great! The collars are durable, and last a while. They hold charge for a long time, and charge quickly when needed!

This is the correct one to use with the PetSafe in-ground system, not the wireless system. It comes with 1 battery, no spare, so buy extra ones while you're at it.

Good deal, easy to use, they swim alot so it's great that it keeps water out. Easy to adjust, bright red color, seems comfortable for the dogs.

The battery needs replacing often and the collar dies after 2 years. We've had 3 now and they're all dead so I'm going to buy a totally different system.

Had to buy a new collar when our first one quit. It had been a few years old and our girl played outside a fair bit so it got plenty of useage. When we got 2 more dogs, each one needed their own collar. The battery life is about 1 1/2 - 2 mths depending on weather. They don’t last as long in the cold.Make sure to by the 2 pack batteries and not the 10 package one. They discontinued the 10 pack so what’s still showing as for sale are older batteries that don’t have a charge (or at least a low & short one).Static power can be altered under that clear cap. We’ve got our collars on different levels depending on which dog is wearing it.Ours is positioned outside in a shelter & It gives a good distance on our front lawn for them to run but they can’t reach the back yard round the house as it falls outside the circumference. It’s not economical for us to buy a second power station at $600 though. To make sure they know where the boundaries are, we’ve walked around holding their collar in our hand first and set up pilons along the ridge of the acreage before putting them onto the dogs.

This is a great way to keep your pet in the yard. When it works, it works well.After about 4-5 months of light use, the collar began beeping inside the house and often would not shock at the boundary. I tried resetting the system and replacing batteries. My other dog's collar was working fine. In the end, my dog was almost hit and I primed a new collar right away. So far the new collar is working fine. My other dog has had his collar for 2 years. Hopefully, this was just a one time issue. A lot to be spending if I can only expect it to work for 6 months.

We purchased this for our Maltipoo who is 7 1/2 pounds and it fits her well and does not appear to weigh her neck down or bother her. It works well to in keeping her within the confined area of the radio fence outside. She learned quickly! My only real complaint with these Petsafe collars is finding batteries that stay working. The batteries always seen old and never last long. I've ordered from several different sellers on Amazon and never have any luck getting good ones. If anyone knows of a good vendor for these batteries I'd love to hear from you. With that said, I'm writing this review for people wondering if the collar will work on their small pup and it will so I gave it 5 stars. I hope this helps.

Update 5/2/18I originally purchased this replacement collar for my female Golden Ret. in October 2015, and it is still working properly 2 1/2 years later. I made the mistake of trying an eBay version a few months ago to replace the old collar for my male Golden (because it was $20 cheaper). After a few days with the eBay collar, I started noticing the collar randomly beeped even when he was lying within feet of the transmitter. After inspecting the two collars side by side, I found that the eBay collar was Model IF-275, instead of Model PIF-275. In case your wondering, there is no Pet Safe Model IF-275, so this turned out to be another case of a real enough looking Chinese knock-off. (Ironically, when I first purchased this collar from Amazon, I was a little concerned it might not be genuine PetSafe.) Moral of the story is that I still highly recommend this collar from Amazon, and I really wish I would have listened to my own review the first time. Trying to save $20, cost me $100 for a worthless knock-off. Read on in my original review below for more specifics about this collar.Original Review (2016):This was the best price I could find anywhere - even quite a bit better than other Amazon listings, for a Petsafe replacement collar. I was a little concerned this might not be a genuine Petsafe collar, but this is the exact same collar I was trying to replace and it is working fine with my Petsafe Wireless fence. I have had the Petsafe wireless fence for over seven years now, and this was the first time I have had to replace a collar. The system works really well. The collar itself is pretty cheap, and I have replaced the red fabric collar (pictured) with more substantial collars for both my dogs. That said, I can't believe how well the receiver unit holds up, as my two retrievers get them wet & muddy constantly, but they still keep working. I do wish the batteries would last a little longer for the price, though.
