As a dog owner, the quest for a harmonious coexistence with a furry escape artist can be a real challenge. Enter the Wireless Dog Fence & Ultrasonic Training Collar, a device that has, quite frankly, changed the landscape of my backyard (and my sanity).Setting this up was surprisingly straightforward. I'm not exactly an electrical engineer, but even I managed to get it working without resorting to the instruction manual as kindling. The wireless aspect is a game-changer – no more digging trenches or tripping over wires like some kind of suburban booby trap. My dog, bless his adventurous heart, initially thought the entire neighborhood was his personal sniffing ground. Now, he's learning that the grass is, in fact, greener within the designated perimeter. The ultrasonic training collar is where the real magic happens. It's like a polite, invisible bouncer for my dog, gently reminding him that certain areas are off-limits. It's not harsh or alarming, just a subtle "Hey, remember that invisible line we talked about?" It's been incredibly effective in teaching him boundaries, and I've noticed a significant reduction in his "exploratory missions" to the neighbor's prize-winning petunias. What I particularly appreciate is the peace of mind it provides. I can let my dog out to roam freely in the yard without constantly hovering or worrying about him making a break for it. It's given him more freedom, and me, more time to enjoy my coffee without the added stress of a canine perimeter breach. If your dog views your yard as merely a suggestion, and you're tired of playing hide-and-seek with a four-legged friend, this wireless fence and training collar is a solid investment. It's effective, easy to use, and has successfully convinced my dog that the grass isn't always greener on the other side of the invisible fence. Highly recommend for anyone seeking a more harmonious (and less frantic) relationship with their adventurous pup.

I got a new dog and did not want to install a physical barrier so I ordered the Htcuto Wireless Fence and Training Collar. When it arrived I was very surprised at the size and how portable it is. This was a big plus for me. It has a nice wide range that is adjustable for your needs, this is also a big plus for me. The instruction manual is well written with pictures and very easy to understand. Setting it up by following the instructions in the manual is easy and the boundary seems to be accurate.I like that it has 3 modes of correction, a beep, a vibration, and then a shock which is adjustable. I am still working on training with my dog. The shock has only had to be used a couple of times and since then my dog has responded mostly to the beep but sometimes still needs the vibration reminder. I do not leave my dog out with this unattended at this point but will likely do so for short periods eventually if my dog learns the boundaries and respects the warning beep. It is important to understand that you will have to spend some time training your dog for this wireless fence to be most effective. My only concern with this wireless fence if if you have a very bold dog and it wants something on the other side of the wireless fence and it bounds through the electronic barrier to get to something on the other side, it won't be able to come back in without receiving a shock and therefore may not come back in. Although this is a concern it is a concern with any wireless electronic fence not just this one. I believe this type of fence works best with a dog that has a more timid personality. Even with this concern, for a wireless fence, I believe this is a very good product.

Although this collar has a shock option, there are two milder stages to try before getting that far. There is a beep or ultrasonic noise, and vibration. The intensity of both can be adjusted. I wasn't sure how I was going to let my dog know where the boundaries are since this radiates 360 degrees in a circle and our yard is rectangular. I placed some yard flags and once he got close, I pushed the vibration button. It was enough for him to avoid the flags. I then realized I should have given him a chance to realize that he was going to get a vibration - hence the noise. So next time, I will try the beep and if it's not enough, then the vibration. We sat on the porch, waiting for some dogs to walk by. Luckily, there were two dogs going on a walk. My dog started growling. Once beep and he backed up. I didn't have to press it again as the dogs walked by.I really don't want to resort to this but my dog has gotten out of control where he sees a dog on a leash and goes crazy. He does fine in daycare but other dogs on walks, he's a crazy dog. Hopefully, this will help get him to refocus on me when things get too crazy for him.Update 5/19/25. Used this on our walk today. We came up to a golden retriever- our dog got all riled up and wanted to dart at the other dog. One noise beep as a warning. He still wasn’t paying attention so he got one vibration. Made it past that dog without him losing himself.Second dog on walk. He started to get excited and one beep for noise and he was able to refocus and look at me. I gave him a treat. We saw another dog and decided to take another route, only to follow another dog. My dog paid no attention to it and looked at me.Like I said, I have had no luck and this seems to help him refocus on me. My shock is set to zero so he will never get shocked as the vibrations are enough to refocus.
