My dog is short hair but she's been shedding a bunch lately. Got this to try out on here, but unfortunately, her hair is too short for it to be effective, and she whines when we comb her with it. It doesn't hurt, she's just a big drama queen. The cats though, is a whole different story. We got long hairs so this helped pull that undercoat out well for them. They would get overstimulated and run away after a bit, but they'd come back for more later. Now, I gave it four, because while it works, it just does undercoat, and short hair it doesn't do much with. I've had other products that handle any style in the past.

This deshedding brush is amazing. Straight out of the package I tried in on my dog and it yook out a LOT of loose hair on his head.This brush is easy to hold, the handle isn't gigantic, and it doesn't feel hard in my hand it has a bit of silicone for padding on the handle, which slso keeps it in your hand to prevent slipping.The teeth glide through easily. We've been watching grooming videos and every groomer recommends deshedding brushes The teeth are two different sizes on each side and the metal is smooth.LOVE, love this brush, now I just need to train my dog to stay still so I can groom him.100000% recommend this very well made brush.

Could not have gotten a better undercoat desheading brush for my husky.it dose wonders on making it to where he dosent shed all over the house nearly as bad. Feels like it has small blades on it that do not hurt our dog at all but removes unwanted hair.

Very effective but I would use it outside from now on due to the amount of hair it removes. Use light pressure or it will pull painfully at the hair.
