I really wanted to like this, because I'm always on the look out for a good shedding blade. It does work to get out some hair however it doesn't make enough contact to really get a hold of the coat to pull out the undercoat. The black plastic center piece keeps the blade lifted too far out of the coat for it to grab the deeper stuff that really needs to come out. I was able to get more out with my comb than this. I really liked the concept, it just didn't work for me.
