Good brush, but I can’t figure out how to get water in it? If it’s supposed to have a spray I wish there were some instructions because I’m a little confused by it. Otherwise it’s a good brush and it works nicely for grooming, easy to clean the hair out of.

My kitty is about 16 years old, and a self groomer. I have brushed her from time to time, but nothing consistent. I bought this to try to help her out with grooming, especially with warmer weather around the corner. I used it without water on her, and she didn't love it; she was trying to escape :( I was gentle and patient with her, but could tell this wasn't for her. I do like that it compresses to remove the fur, that's a nice feature. The color is soooo pretty, and it's small enough to conveniently fit in a little IKEA container. I haven't tried the water feature on it, but we will work up to that. I would recommend this for an animal that is used to being groomed...if they're not, it might freak them out a little at first ;)

I have a lab 6 month old lab puppy that is shedding so bad. This brush takes the excess hair right off of her.Love it!

You never know how cats are going to react to something new and strange...but this was an instant hit! I was a little worried, because our big cat is extremely skittish of water, but after a momentary startlement he relaxed into the brushing with avid enthusiasm. It made his fur so nice and soft, and even helped with his dandruff, but the most important thing of course is that he loved it.It was also easy to set-up and deal with, although it took a little fumbling to figure out at first: the instructions have clear images of what you're supposed to do, it just didn't feel very intuitive (at least not to me). But after the initial fumble, and realizing I had gotten the fur-removal and misting buttons mixed up in my head and that's why it wasn't working, it was all pretty simple to deal with.The inclusion of the little bottle to make filling the brush easier is an especially nice touch, and I liked that there were no odd latches or twists needed to open/seal anything. It's light, light enough that I'm definitely going to be careful not to drop it lest it crack, but that's mainly a point in its favor as it means your arm won't get as tired when the cat demands endless steam-brushing!I should confess that I thought this was a ridiculous device, and I initially sent the link to my friend only thinking she would laugh at it too, and we'd move on without thinking anything of it further; but fortunately she'd heard of cat-steam-brushes already, and had been wanting to try one, so she convinced me to order it. And thank goodness she did. I really could not be happier with this ridiculous doohickey—and neither could the cat!The positioning of the steam-nozzle did leave an odd-looking single stripe behind on his fur each stroke, from where there was lots of water and few bristles, but the cat didn't seem to mind that (and the nice gift-comb included took care of the look of it afterwards anyway).btw it charges quite fast, which is very handy for a cat-tool/toy like this.

Works great, nice little jet of cool mist on my cat, they didn't find it scary like I thought they would. All around a well made little package.
