Don't buy this. Cats claws got stuck in fabric and she pushed her way forward and got a part stuck in mesh and couldn't get her out. I had to cut her out.

bought this hoping it would work and IT DID! Thicker material than other ones. like most cats, my cat does not like baths... this item was able to withstand him trying to claw out. It did not tear at all. you are able to throughly wash and rinse the animal you use it for. Had all the sinch spots in the right area.

Seems like a great concept however my cats hated it. I have an easier time just putting them in the bath tub to give them a bath.I may come to update if I find another use for the product.

Worked as advertised and couldn't be more thrilled. A huge improvement over trying to wrap the little demon in a towel for nail trims. Once ensconced in the little hideout he remained calm and still and barely needed to be held. Might even be a me to manage it with one person alone. Most impressed.

The product didn't look anything like the picture. It was very flimsy. I tried it anyways and my cat escaped within seconds of touching the water.

It's big enough for a 2 year old cat and small enough for a year old cat. Material is good and ties are strong.

I love some of the videos with this. It would have been appreciated to have some type of directions on how to get the cat into this, for we slightly awkward cat owners. Finally got her in, and thankfully it is rather sturdy as she really did not like it. Don't think many cats would. However, it worked beautifully. I'll get smoother with it as we use it more, and my little octopus will not fight the inevitable so much. We haven't even moved into the 'bathing' part, that was just for ear cleaning and claw trimming. LOL I'm glad I got it, and it's definitely worth it.

I have a 4lb, 3 month old escape artist of a toy Pomsky pup who will squirm his way out of your arms if you’re trying to keep him still for anything. He has discharge in his right ear that the vet gave us a cleanser for. We had to squeeze liquid into his ear and clean with a cotton swab. He HATES it. Absolutely HATES it. He will squeal, growl, bite, scratch, and even risk falling onto the ground out of your grips to not have to deal with it at all, don’t worry we haven’t dropped him. Afterwards he won’t even let you touch him and you could tell he felt utterly betrayed. We struggled really hard the first week and was only successful maybe 2 times out of the 5 we had to do it. The smol guy is a big fighter. Because of this, his ear got worse and now the vet is having us apply the cleanser in the morning and a medication at night, using the same process, to BOTH ears, over the span of. 10. Days. Twice. A. Day. We dreaded having to do it, it was almost impossible the first time around and now we have to do it for 10 more days, twice a day?!.. I did some research on the best ways to restrain a puppy for these things and came across this grooming bag. I figured it was worth a shot. First day of trying it out, we put him in one of his thicker puffy jackets in case he would squirm too much and hurt himself. When putting him in, we didn’t put his legs through any of the leg holes. We also muzzled him. We sat on the floor, I secured his torso in my arms, and held his head still with my hands while my boyfriend applied the medication and cleanser and oh my god, this worked brilliantly. We’re so thankful for this product. Given he refused to let us touch him afterwards and had a mini panic attack for a few seconds after we took everything off, but nothing a cut up strawberry and a nap didn’t fix afterwards. Now he’ll start to whine when he sees us with the bag and the muzzle coming towards him, but he’s accepted defeat and lets us put everything on without much trouble. He still puts up a fight once the medicine and cleanser is put into his ear. He freaks out even more when the cotton swab goes in, but this has made our lives so much easier and it feels great to know we can take care of his ear problem easier.

There are many cat grooming bags out there that look similar and have different reviews. After much deliberation, I eventually chose this one because it seemed a bit more well-made than some of the others, but I really couldn't tell from the listings alone. After receiving it, I am very happy with my choice. This mesh is strong and durable and held my semi-feral cat very well while I trimmed her nails. Be sure to properly cinch all the ties, or the front paws can try to poke out of the neck opening, which is awkward. I ended up only using the hood at one point for a few moments, after which my cat was so grateful to be released from it that she toned down her growling considerably — so it's helpful to know that the hood will restrain the cat's teeth if necessary, which will be helpful when I eventually have to bathe her. It did take a moment to realize I needed to properly guide her out the back afterward, since she was trying unsuccessfully to escape through the neck hole, but I now know how to do it and it's easy. My drawstrings didn't come with knots at the end, so the plastic cinchers did slide off some of them, but they're easy to put back on and I tied my own knots. I am glad I bought this grooming bag, and will recommend it to other cat owners. Be sure to shower your cat with treats and affection and space when you're done!

After reading the reviews, I was a bit skeptical that the grooming bags would do what I needed them to: 1) fit our two very differently-sized cats (one about 9 lb., the other, 14 lb.), and 2) minimize scratching/clawing/trauma during baths. Thankfully, everything went off without a hitch! The cats definitely didn't enjoy being in the bags (and the holes in the mesh are large enough that the claws poked through), but I made sure to put them on the cats *before* even approaching the bathroom so that they wouldn't be in a totally panicked and uncontrollable state.Don't get me wrong: My cats still hate baths with a passion, and yours probably will, too. But the bags make it super easy to maneuver them while you apply soap, lather, and rinse them off, and I found I could control the cats with one arm instead of having to fully wrestle them at each stage. With these bags, I was able to bathe each of my cats in just five minutes -- a REAL miracle! Getting them out of the wet mesh bags was a little bit trickier (especially as you have to loosen all the ties first, which requires them to stay somewhat still), but that's to be expected. This isn't a miracle product, but if your pets can tolerate harnesses, sweaters, and the like, you'll likely find it very useful for bathtime!
