I'm going to admit: I haven't tried this on a vacuum yet, because my cats are absolutely terrified of the vacuum. However, this does seem to do a great job at removing the loose fur from their coats, and I really appreciate the broad head and wide coverage. My cats are... a bit on the larger side. It seems like it would be fairly straightforward to attach it to the vacuum, and if I can figure out how to make it work without scaring the cats away, I believe this will work well to keep the shedding contained during a grooming session. One interesting thing is that you have to hold the trigger down to be able to brush the cats, and when you release the trigger, the cleaning plate moves up to clean the fur out. While this is backwards to most self-cleaning brushes, it makes sense when it's combined with a vacuum: releasing the trigger releases the fur and allows the vacuum to take it.

This is a nice vac attachment. Fits my backpack vac hose perfectly & brushes my pup well. The included adapters are great, too. I’m actually using the flexible hose with other attachments that I have & it makes using it so much easier on the stairs & for dusting.This is a great & versatile kit that I can surely recommend.

I love my dog, but boy, can he shed hair. I've been using a handheld brush, which, honestly, after every stroke, I have to stop and plug out the hair and put it in a garbage bag. Time consuming, to say the least. I was especially glad to find this hair vacuuming brush attachment. This brush is super effective; it is made of soft rubber bristles and does an incredible job of deshedding my dog's hair. It attaches to my vacuum hose, which I extend as far as possible as my dog at first was nervous, but I found if I gave him his special treat, he focused less on the vacuum. He now enjoys the attention he gets when we groom him.

This pet hair vacuum attachment does work on pets, but only if they aren’t scared of the vacuum, which is a challenge with my dog. It does an okay job of removing hair from carpets and furniture, but I didn’t find it any more effective than the standard attachments that came with my vacuum. While the soft bristles are gentle and might be better for sensitive pets, the overall performance didn’t feel worth the extra effort to set up and use. The adapter system is a bit cumbersome, and the hose doesn’t fully eliminate the stress for pets who dislike the noise. It’s not a terrible product, but it didn’t meet my expectations for something marketed as a specialized tool.

I have to say, it works pretty well! It easily attaches to my vacuum, and once I start it up, it collects all the loose hair from my dogs and cats. The brush is gentle on their skin but really good at grabbing shedding fur. It makes grooming time a lot faster and cleaner since the hair gets sucked up right away. Getting my dog used to the vacuum is still a task but we are slowly getting there.
