I bought this to replace my dog’s old shedding tool. I have a senior age Labrador and as he’s aged he sheds even more than he had when he was younger so it’s important to have a shedding tool that works for us. The handle size works well for my small hand to grip and wield and the width of the head and teeth have a decent coverage for his thick hair. The detachable head makes cleaning the brush more convenient. I really like that the blades don’t seem to irritate his skin. So far this tool has been working very well for ridding my dog of his excess fur. Since using this brush he hasn’t shed as much and his coat feels and looks healthier and softer overall. The affordable price along with being a quality makes this item even more of a great value. I’d likely repurchase this item/brand in the future if needed and I recommend it to pet owners who’s dog has a thick coat and sheds a higher volume.

Omg!!!! Yes!!!Both of my dogs are husky mixed. The small one is a boarder collie and the big one is German Sheppard husky.Okay let's start with the good things about the brush. I was skeptical about this working as great as people claim. I looked at my local pets mart and they wanted $15 for a comb like this. And I was needing it bad. As my Sheppard was shedding so much hair. And it was making my eyes itchy and I could stop sneezing. When I got it in the mail, I comb him and he loved it. Don't do this on a bed like I did. Lol. I had so much hair come out. His winter coat. That i had to get a grocery bag to put it in. But it was amazing, how good he looked afterwards. And how much I felt better as well. Now for the puppy. This doesn't work on her at all. I brushed her and she didn't have any hair come off. Maybe she done shedding or the fact she one 9 weeks right now. So take that as you may. But I will update if anything changes. Its so worth the buy and waiting for it. I highly recommend this comb. It comes in two pieces and easy to assemble and take apart. Also very easy to clean and use. My German Sheppard loves it and so do I. Cant appraise it enough.

Unlike so many products, this one actually lives up to the descriptions from the manufacturer. We have three cats who have always been brushed regularly with a shedding brush so the results we achieved with this brush are not because of previous neglect. The first couple of times we used this brush, the amount of hair coming off of our cats was amazing. This brush really gets down to the under coat and removes all of the loose hair. After a couple of weeks of regular brushing, we are noticing that our cats are shedding a lot less and their coats are noticeably more shiny. We are also seeing a great reduction in the amount of dead skin cells on our black and white cat's coat which leads me to believe that this brush is doing an excellent job of keeping her skin healthy and reducing her dandruff. The brush is well designed, very easy to hold and, best of all, the cats love getting brushed with it. It's the only brush we've ever had that all three cats enjoy. It is also very easy to clean as the hair pulls right off. There are a lot of pet care products out there but I think this one is a must-own for any cat owner whose cats have shedding or dandruff problems.

The chirpy works well. Maybe it works too well or maybe kitty sheds too much but the teeth get full so quickly that you have to pull the hair out after three passes. Maybe longer teeth would help? Maybe a cat that she’s less? I don’t know if there’s anything that can actually be done besides a hairless cat?

This brush is super helpful for our cat, Foxy. It definitely does its job and eliminates all that loose shedded hair. It's also very easy to pull the hair from the brush to clean it without much residue left behind. My only recommendation, and maybe its just a cat thing, but my cat seems sensitive to the pressure of the teeth. I know this because she will try to bite it. This worries me because obviously I don't want her teeth or mouth to be injured. I think maybe the brush could benefit from a guard surrounding the teeth. Whether or not it's a cat thing, I think it could be a little safer, as a guard could also halt how hard you can push down on the brush. Overall though, great product, I'm very happy with it.

I've been very impressed by this little brush so far! I was getting desperate... we have 3 cats that shed CONSTANTLY and an 8 month old baby who was crawling around through cat hair tumbleweeds all across our wood floors. Not pretty, and was making me feel guilty that he was going to start hacking up hairballs himself from being down there with all that fur all the time, lol! I was going to get a Furminator since my mother-in-law has one of them and loves it... however, they are kind of spendy, and this seemed very similar and had great reviews so I figured I'd give it a try.As you can see for yourself in the picture, it got a MASSIVE amount of fur off my cats- the pile in the picture is from one brushing each on our 3 cats. It really seems to get the stuff from their undercoat that my old brushes wasn't touching, too. It's only been two days or so and we just got around to vacuuming the house today finally, so I haven't gotten to see if there's a huge difference in the number of cat hair tumbleweeds cruising across our floors, but I can't imagine that it won't be less after seeing that huge pile of fur!Oh, and this didn't matter as much to me since I was going to brush those darn cats whether they wanted it or not since I bought it to make my life easier and my baby's a little less furry lol, but they all LOVED getting brushed with this. I was a little skeptical that they would like it as much as the other reviewers had said since it's metal and I thought could potentially be less comfortable than other brushes, but the other reviewers spoke the truth. Cats love this brush! Overall, a very happy experience for everyone, I'd highly recommend :)
