Bought a 64 f100 with a 223 inline 6. Been sitting 25years untouched. A plug wire was off and dist cap half open. I bought this put a battery in it and fired up and ran smooth!!

Much simpler to install than I thought it would be. So much better than dealing with points, and I'm able to keep the stock look and vacuum advance.

Such a simple, modern update, for a 45 year old car!To be proper, I have key switched +12.6V, to my Ignitor II module, and 1.7ohm OEM original coil.Engine starts, rpm s' quicker, and returns to proper smooth idle! From 1971 to 2016 Hero! :)

Best option out there for a 49' Ford 226 flathead. The only issue I had was getting the clearance into specs. I had to gently file the adjustment hole to get more movement.

Man, I am so happy my 1961 Comet two-door station wagon runs like a champ now. Do not like to be critical because the first unit did not work, but this was quickly and easily resolved with a return/replacement with which the car fired right up. That is the only reason for four stars instead of five!

One of the best upgrades I've done. No more adjusting points. Gave a noticeable performance boost. Very easy install with no mods.

Improves spark 100% from points. no maintenance and will pay for itself over time. say hello to better MPG and power over points.
