Attach a 1" key ring to your banjo strap mounts. The clip attaches much easier to a large ring.

Was puchased for my Dad for Fathers day, he loved it. It was very good quality and he said it fit his Banjo nicely, and is comfortable when he plays. I guess for someone who is ninty three, if he says it a good deal, I can't argue. +++

This strap works as intended . I Only gave it a 3 on comfort because it is not as comfortable as others I have had. However it is not so uncomfortable that it can't be used, it may just be that it doesn't fit me right. Good strap woth the money.

Nice SOFT leather, very nice and comfy. High quality and well-cut. I believe it will last forever.These plastic connectors are what I prefer as not to scratch the instrument. Know that they are plastic. Plastic breaks easier than metal, but these seem quite sturdy and maybe just a tad tuff to attach until they get broke in. I share a banjo with my wife, who is petite, so we change out straps rather than adjust and I have to strap in every time I play. It's really not too much hassle with this strap.Now, it's the size noted in the description which is just big enough for me. I'm a very big guy, so if you are too, take care in ordering here. I have it adjusted out all the way and it's just right. But I looked around, and this might just be as long of a banjo strap as you are going to find that's not custom made. Also note that this is a traditional "hole-in-hole" leather adjustment strap, which I tend to prefer. They're more comfortable for me. It does not have any quick release style of adjustment, if you are looking for such.So yeah, if you don't need to to adjust the strap a lot and aren't just too big of a person, you will love this strap. Get it!

Beautiful, soft, strong and comfy. You won't beat the price for this level of quality anywhere. If there are any bad reviews I'd love to know why. Zero complaints for me.

I bought a Deering Goodtime 2 a month or so ago and decided to get this strap.First off the video shown for this product is for a saddle strap, but luckily there is the internet to show how to strap on an altered straddle strap/ clip on strap.The clips and how they are fixed to the strap are of poor quality.Lastly, the adjustment process is a pain. No matter what you do the banjo will either hang too low with the cushion of the strap to fit properly, or to get the banjo in the correct position, it is possible, but the strap cushion on your shoulder won't fit properly (you get like a quarter of the strap on the shoulder)
