I have been playing/learning Scruggs style banjo for a few years. I also have a MB-200 as well as a nice Derring Goodtime banjo. I wanted a travel banjo to take camping. I have also started playing claw-hammer/old time style lately. This works wonderful for claw-hammer style. I ended up putting nyglut nylon type strings on it. They do require some setup upon receiving. Head tightening, bridge adjustments, etc. There are plenty of videos walking through these processes.
