I needed an extra bow while my regular bow is getting rehaired. This bow delivered! I am impressed with the weight and it's ability to pull out a smooth sound on each string. Worth the risk.

I got the pernambuco bow, it was amazing, beautiful and well balanced and is capable of a large deep sound out of my cello. I highly recommend the Mellos Cello Rosin to pair with this and any other quality bow.. The tack is absolutely astonishing when used together with your regular rosin. Talk about grip and control!For a cheap bow, the quality and craftsmanship is superb, and on par with some of my $600+ bows.. It’s not the best bow in the world, and neither are my expensive bows, don’t get me wrong, but for the price and quality this is an amazing value. I do love this bow and how it performs.. It came very well packaged.I highly recommend this seller and this bow!

UPDATE:Just bought my second bow same model 850c pernambuco. I play on a 3D printed Forte 3D carbon cello now. It has an immaculately deep rich sound. I got a Carbon fiber bow for it. But the bow had some issues more recently. So I went back to the pernambuco and put a little more rosin on it. Tightened it up a bit more and holy moly! It has a much better tone than I thought my Carbon fiber bow had. So I just bought a second one seeing that there are just a few left in stock. It's definitely a pretty impressive bow especially for the price. Seems to work better under a little bit more tension with a little more rosin for me. I tend to be a little light on the strings.Old review:I have a very old cello. I have tried many bows to try to draw out the most resonant sound. This one is a winner - though it's taking some getting used to.

The bow has a little weight, but not much near the tip, where it would help the mostI may need to resin it more but so far it’s not that bright a tone. Nice enough, just not for soloists

I would recommend this bow for the novice or intermediate player, who plays as a hobby. I think it would even work if playing for a community orchestra. Good value for the price.

I actually didnt anticipated because of the prejudice against chinese product. And it's not cheap enough either! But when i got and used it, i found that i was wrong. The delievery abroard took only about a week, and plus i improved my skill with this bow and could play cello powerfully. Its flexible enough to play nice skills. The hair is thick enough, and the wood seems solid and made well. Even though part of details are not neat, i think it's wonderful bow in this price. Thank you.
