I used it as a gasket for my clutch cover on my Yamaha R6. 1st go around it had a small leak but I redid it and used a thicker bead. It worked great. About 3k miles on it now and drive it normal, no leaks and my oil level hasn't moved. Not sure how long it will last but I think it'll last a year, maybe two.

I used this on my 2004 Tiburon's oil pan during a replacement, and the gasket has been holding up great. I followed the instructions on the back, and let the gasket cure for at least 24 hours before pouring in fresh engine oil.5 Stars.

The valve cover on my Honda walk-behind mower started leaking oil. I took it in to get repaired, but my guy said although he could do it, I could save myself a good chunk of money if I made this repair myself. You simply remove the valve cover (after draining the oil), clean off the old silicone gasket, press out this gasket material onto the valve cover to form the new gasket, reattach to the mower and allow to sit for 24 hours. Pour in new oil and you're ready to go. Great product for all your gasket needs.

Handy of you are doing repairs.. often this is a good replacement for a gasket. The best way to avoid leaks
