Your cart is empty.J-B Weld Hi-Temp Red Silicone Gasket Maker & Sealant is an RTV (Room Temperature Vulcanized) Silicone gasketing material, designed for use in mechanical assemblies where the existence of higher, continuous temperatures up to 550º F or 650º F intermittent might exist. Upon curing, which occurs when the product is exposed to the moisture in air, the silicone forms a tough, waterproof seal on most surfaces. It will not shrink or crack, resists weathering, is sensor safe and is great for many automotive applications.

Very durable, was easy to use, had the appearance I wanted, sealed perfectly.. Was happy with it sealing the aluminum windows on my "shortie". Caulk was used between the window and wood trim.

Item is missing the plastic applicator that was supposed to be attached to the tube when it was shipped. I have no way to use this product, and I’ve heard nothing back from customer service at the JB Weld company.

No complaints. Worked as well as permatex and it was a bit more affordable. I'd also note that getting this stuff in a caulking tube is pretty much the best thing ever! So much easier to control than those stupid tubes!

My feedback is really positive because this product is so easy to use. The bonding is strong and holds well, which has saved me countless times. Another feature that stands out is the high temperature resistance, it just works wonderfully even in high heat situations. All in all, this is a solid, dependable product that does the job as promised.

Purchased this product to do an oil pan replacement on my daughters 2007 Saturn Ion3. The factory oil pan doesn't come with a gasket. I utilized this as the gasket/seal between the engine and oil pan and it has held up well. I checked the oil pan after a few months and found that there were no leaks at all. After only using a small amount of the tube, I was able to utilize the tube again for another project. I was very surprised that it had not gone bad after months. Recommend following the directions on the tube when utilizing this product and you will be satisfied with the outcome.

Very impressed with product. Perfectly sealed my two valve rocker covers on my big V8 turbo instead of using gaskets. I made a sample dab the size of a bottle top and half inch high onto cardboard and let it set overnight and I was amazed how well it can compress without destruction and still return to its original dab size. Will definitely use this gasket maker again on my future engine repairs.
