Worked great at sealing the transmission pan on my 2015 Mazda 3. Hand tight for an hour like the instructions said then 24 hour cure. It has been a week and it hasn't leaked at all so it's all good.

Used to seal upper transmission housing cover on 2017 Grand Caravan with a 62TE automatic. Used without gasket, left 24 hours before filing and running as directed by the instructions. no evidence of leaks after two weeks.

This does the job, It sealed up my transmission after a failed gasket. Down fall is the tube is hard to squeeze out and eventually pops a leak. Had to throw it away after i completed my job. But it got the job done

Used this on a 2009 Kia Spectra LX transmission oil pan (Dorman) and worked perfectly. Be sure to carefully clean and de-grease ALL mating surfaces. My pan was held on by 19 bolts, and as luck would have it, one of them had its head shear off during installation. But even with a missing bolt, this sealant had NO problem keeping all the transmission fluid in the pan where it belongs - I saw NO leakage whatsoever!

Make sure to follow instructions as this sealant expands when drying. This gave me a perfect seal on the first try.

Okay, it's been three and a half years, so I'm ready to review. Used this after trying other gasket makers that failed. I had a tranny pan on our Dodge Caravan that had been serviced before by someone who had overtightened the bolts and stripped several of them. I had to put studs in those holes with red loctite so I could put nuts on the studs to hold the tranny pan on. Non-AT gasket maker didn't work. Something about the AT fluid - it gets by regular gasket maker somehow. This stuff has held my fluid in with that Frankenstein tranny pan for over 50,000 miles now. Great stuff. Will only use Permatex AT Gasket maker for tranny pans from now on.
