Sadly I ordered this and there was no tip with the tube. I returned it and reordered and the second one came without the tip also. So I can’t honestly rate this because I never go to try it. Gonna by something locally.

I had the best opportunity to test this not long after receiving it, but I chickened out. My oil pan had started to develop small pinholes and was making a mess of the driveway. I attempted a quick and dirty fix using JB Weld while still attached to the vehicle drained of oil. That repair was short-lived, but allowed me time to get my affairs in order. That being grocery shopping and the procurement of all necessary materials. But with the brutal winter approaching fast I couldn't bring myself to use an unknown variable on such a critical component and ended up getting my old stand-by Permatex Black.I have since devised some less-than-mission-critical tests. It was able to hold the aforementioned JBWeld in place long enough to fully cure inside a hollow aluminum tube. I did think that it would have been nice using a caulking gun when laying a bead on the pan as opposed to squeezing the small tube, but fear of the unknown proved too much.
