Your cart is empty.Permatex Aviation Form-A-Gasket No. 3 Sealant is a slow-drying, non-hardening brush-top sealant approved for use in aviation as well as automotive applications. Gasoline, oil and grease resistant, it has a temperature range of -65 degrees fahrenheit to 400 degrees fahrenheit. Suggested applications include close-fitting machined surfaces, sealing hoses, and solid gaskets. When a chemical gasket is not an option, Permatex offers a wide range of gasket sealants suitable for applications on both import and domestic vehicles of any model year or performance caliber.

クランクケースの合わせ面、ケースとシリンダーの合わせ面・ウォーターポンプ・インテークマニホールド・オイルパン・キャブレター・ホース・センサー類のネジ山・紙パッキン等の抑えなどに最適。超超超遅乾タイプなので塗る面積が広い場合や塗った部品を何度か取外す必要が有る場合、また粘度は有りますが流動性なので狭い場所で上から下の方に落とし込んでやりたい場合など便利です。キャップの裏側にはハケが取付けて有りますのでキャップを取ってそのまま塗る事が出来ます。耐油性・耐水性問題無し・耐熱性約200℃・耐ガソリン性も有ります。FLAT4などで買うと118mlのボトルで¥3.080-ですが、4倍の量で¥4.000-なので超お買い得でした。他のレビューを見て、キャップから中身が漏れているのを恐れていましたが、キャップはキッチリと締められ、万が一にも漏れない様にキャップと本体部品にテープもしっかり貼ってありました。

Product works great but Amazon product pickers need to check that the lids are on tight before the box them up. The lid was lose and it was a big mess that I had to clean up before I could even use the stuff.

This is how I received my bottle. A simple shrink wrapped top or tape around the cap would resolve this. As far as the product I use this on all my diesel and gas fuel fittings. No leaks.

It is a little thin which makes it a little messier but it works just like it advertises. Works great on paper gaskets.

This stuff used correctly is a wonderful product for mechanical and marine low temp applications -At 2 1/2 times the price mercury marine sold it as perfect seal.

I used Permatex aviation sealant on a 3/4 inch metal pipe. Standard heater type hose. I coated both inside hose and outside pipe. Within 5 minutes hose was installed. Next day coolant leaked out of this connection. Tried snugging clamp but failed to stop leak. No damage go pipe and hose was new.I'm lucky I was not relying on this in and aircraft. This hose is in a tough location and now I haver to remove it and find a better sealant. I had high hopes for this. But no longer. I would never buy this again.Can't figure why it failed when so many positive reviews had good luck with it. Did I get a bad container?I do use other Permatex products with success.February 15,2020. I used this on more fitting, hoses etc. and now find it does work. I wondered why it was not doing its job.(I like Permatex products) The above 3/4 inch hose must have been a fluke. ALL others are fine and leak proof. Happy again!
