This stuff actually worked for my old Jeep 2007 Wrangler JK with more than 260k km (V6 3.8L). I had a leak in the timing chain cover gasket and also an other leak at the intake manifold gasket. Followed the instructions on the container and no more visible leaks after only 1 day of running the product. Also, my "Long term fuel trim" for Bank 1 and Bank 2 used to be around +12% and they are now under 4% at idle. I usually don't have a lot of faith in "magic potions", but "Bar's Leaks 1111 Head Gasket Fix" did a good job so far for my V6. Used the entire bottle for a 12 Liter coolant capacity, the stuff is kind of a bit thick and has an orange colour with copper flakes inside.

Me soluciono el problema que tenia, sello bastante el paso del agua al aceite y al cilindro. Me quito el humo por consecuencia de la falla del empaque de culata. Por ahora me da tiempo para hacer una reparación mas adelante.

This stuff is absolutely AMAZING!!! I really didn't think it would work bcz it did say for "small" leaks, (mine was NOT small) but with a $1,500 estimate to fix my 2006 Chrysler Town & country with 128k miles,(def not worth it to me) I wanted to try this product first before I broke down to buy a newer car. I was so skeptical since there were mixed reviews, but most were positive so I ordered it. First off my vans "symptoms" were massive coolant leak (over a gallon a day), over heating, oil mixing with coolant, heat only blowing out cold air. I did not have white smoke blowing out of tailpipe or milky film on oil cap or steam from radiator. The coolant leak (with oil mixed in it) and temperature reading HOT within 4-5 minutes of driving, & engine driving rough we're my biggest issues. My husband's friend is a mechanic, so I know he was being honest, did find the HG leak also.. it would have cost alot more to fix had we brought it somewhere else. The $1500 was a favor..but still too much for an older van.. anyways, so I got the product, & my radiator was empty bcz it all leaked out (but it does say u can add it with coolant already in the radiator/no need to drain out) so I poured the whole can in while engine was cool, then topped it off with antifreeze & squeezed on the hoses to get any air out. I started the van & left it running for 20 minutes with heat & fan on HIGH. I Could still see it leaking underneath but not nearly as much (wait it gets better!) So I let engine cool again & topped it off with more antifreeze, then took it for a slow 20 min ride around town with heat still on high.. it was NOT overheating! Heat was HOT again! When I got home & shut van off, I looked underneath and the leaking had completely stopped!! You don't need to do this next step, but I went ahead to get an oil change on day 12 & added one container of the"Bars leaks engine repair 2 part formula" for added protection (not sure if the stuff really works good or not but I liked the reviews & figured it could only help) I could not believe this stuff in a can did all of that so easily! This stuff is great! 5 stars from me! I saved so much money! I am now on day 16 and everything is still going great! No issues at all. I am still a little bit skeptical on how long it will work for, but I've read that some people got another 50-70,000 more miles out of their cars after using it before they had to use it again!.. so I am definitely a believer in this product! I'll see how long it lasts. If any problems arise I will be sure to come back on to post about it..but for now all is great! Van is running better than it has in a LONG time!!👍

It is no secret that GM has thousands of unhappy customers due to bad design of intake manifold gaskets, look it up on the web. After having the intake gaskets replaced three years ago they went again, they last about three years before blowing again due to bad gaskets and the effects of DexCool. I parked my vehicle trying to decide what to do. After much internet research I decided to tr{ this product. I am very pleased to say it works and is well worth the price. I do not know how long the fix will last but at least I can use my vehicle again, if I get another year of driving out of it I'll be happy.Again, it works. As an old broken down "wrench" I would have torn into it when I was younger but am not going to go through $2700 repair every two to three years.Update, 3/28/2012Vehicle still running with no leaks or loss of coolant. You will need to keep it clear of your radiator cap so coolant can pull back from the overflow resivoir. This stuff works, look at the reviews here they aren't fabrications.Update, 10/22/2012Still running just fine. Arizona summers find all sorts of weak spots in your cooling system, none arose this past year or summer. The coolant loss situation I faced was as bad as any I've read about here or other sites so it's not like it was minor. Maybe I am lucky but this product has given me use of my "family hauler" vehicle for just short of one year and another 5K miles of around town use.Update 12/15/2012Well the leak fix popped last week and it's back to sucking coolant into the intake manifold. I will flush the cooling system and try the Bars Leaks again. I got just over a year of vehicle use with it so if you get results like this it's worth it.Update 1/21/2013, Weather was nice today so I added another bottle of this product ran it for 15 minutes while temperature held steady. Upon cooling down and checking fluid levers I drove eight miles with temperature holding right where it should. If past performance is going to repeat I should be drivable for another year.Update 08/09/2013 vehicle still drivable through another hot summer, even days up to 114 degrees. Would not of course take a long trip in it but for around town use it's holding up. Your case may be different but if your vehicle is old enough to have virtually no trade in value and need something to get you to and from work it is worth a try.
