This fit my hand very well. I haven't got the hang of using it for many things, but it takes all the strain off my wrists when I do use it. I think it's especially useful for simulation games where my wrist gets a real workout just placing items or buildings. You can program the buttons, which I also find useful for bigger games. I don't know if this is a tool for me for everything, but I do like it. I think it will work out!

I have looked at other reviews of this trackball, but none of them seem to match my experience, so my device might just be an outlier. That being said, it just doesn't work. I used well-known brand-name AAA batteries, and even checked them to make sure that they were good and fully charged. When I plugged in the dongle into my computer, I heard the typical "ding" indicating that a new device had been detected. I moved the trackball, and the pointer moved on the screen briefly and then suddenly disappeared. I navigated around the screen with the invisible pointer and was able to see random items highlighted or otherwise triggered, but it seemed to happen randomly in such a way that I never could really tell where the invisible pointer was or which direction it was moving.I tried different USB ports and reinserted with the trackball off and on and everything else I could think of to trick it into working. I never saw the mouse pointer again after the first time I plugged in the dongle. I reconnected my old mouse and it works fine. I tried the trackball on my wife's computer and saw no evidence that the trackball connected at all. The mouse pointer remained visible on that computer but never moved, regardless of what I did with the trackball device or what port the USB dongle was plugged into. I had planned to keep this device in reserve for my wife to use, as she has a bad shoulder and always works with a trackball. However, it is a brick. I cannot recommend this device based on my experience.

I have had many different styles brands and size mouse and used them all in different settings and for different tasks. Of all the Bluetooth mice i have ever used this one has the least amount of lag to the point where in gaming or multitasking there is no drift lag or noticeable glitching. The packaging was super cute and very gift worthy in my opinion ! And the track ball makes gaming even more comfortable than traditional mice. The track ball is easy to take out and keep clean. Love this mouse and so does my pc gaming toddler as well!.

I picked this up for a replacement on a failing trackball that I have had for some time now. I had t o get use to using a thumb style as I'm more use to the much larger style trackball that uses other fingers. The ball does not spin well and that is why the three stars. The build quality is decent but does feel a bit cheaper than my previous trackball mouse. The wireless holds up great and so does the battery time. I work twelve hour shifts and had no issues at all during the long shift periods. The mouse does go into some sort of sleep mode and the only way I found to wake it was by hitting one of the buttons. The ball did nothing for waking up the mouse. I'm not sure if this would be a purchase I would make again but I will keep the trackball mouse for now and give it a good run and will change my review if I happen to like it more than I expected.

This is my review of the:Perixx PERIMICE-717PKB Wireless Trackball Mouse, Build-in 1.34 Inch Glossy Trackball with Pointing Feature - 5 Programmable Buttons - Black Body - Pink Ball.I liked the comfortable shape of this trackball and its five programmable buttons. When using the downloaded program, the buttons can be programmed for different functions that aren't available when using a Windows plug-and-play driver. It also has a macros programming section that records and can loop the trackball's actions. This function is not explained in the included instructions; however, in the downloaded instructions from the company website, there is a page describing the macros function and more detailed instructions for programming the buttons. I have never used macros for a trackball and do not fully understand what they would be used for, so I cannot comment further on this function. In addition to the programmable buttons, there is a button to change the resolution from 400 to 1000 DPI.The base has good, soft rubber pads on the bottom to prevent it from sliding around. Batteries are not included in this product. It uses 2 AAA batteries; rechargeable batteries may be used; however, there is no USB charge port on the base, so they would have to be charged in a separate charger. The trackball works with Windows only, not Android or Apple products, and is not Bluetooth-capable, so the USB-A antenna that may be stored in its base must be used. Bluetooth compatibility would have been a nice feature; other than that, it is a good entry-level trackball offered at a reasonable price.
