Won't replace your feeler gauges, but this is a great tool to use if the gap is too small. Especially handy if you're working with expensive iridium spark plugs.

I prefer wire versus flat feeler gauge when checking the gap of a spark plug. I have used wire guages for 40+ years. I made a small engine tune-up tool box that I keep a lot of specialized tools in. This helps me keep those tools together. As you get older and if your a DYI person. You will obtain power tools and manufacturers like to use different fasteners. That's why you have to some specialized tools like a simple gap tool. Additionally many people forget that the spark plug gap is not set at the factory. I suggest buying this tool or a similar wire tool for spark plug gap on small engines.

This file cuts well, at least for my fingernails. Regular fingernail files don't do it for me. I want something that is more aggressive, and this file is it. Does a nice job on my nails. I plan to get another for actual metal filing.
