I always run out of Solution No. 3 before any of my other pool test chemicals, because it requires more drops for testing alkalinity. Instead of replacing the entire 5-bottle Solutions set to just get the one bottle of solution No. 3 that I need, I find it is just smarter to order this solution on its own, even if it costs a few dollars more for just the one bottle. I have used Pentair No. 3 solution in the past and find it is completely compatible with my Poolmaster pool testing kit.

Good product. However cost is high in view of chemicals involved. Would like larger size and better price.
