HOICATED Professional Digital Pool Salt Tester
HOICATED salt tester uses high sensitivity electrode, which can measure the salt level accurately and quickly. The salt tester is small and portable. It's easy to find in a tool kit. Saltwater pool owners can use it anytime and anywhere.
A Good Helper for Salt Chlorinator
The salt tester is a great tool to help detect the salt level in the saltwater pool to ensure the salt chlorinator works properly. The ideal salt level is between 2700-3400 ppm (parts per million) with 3200 ppm being optimal.
1. Before adding salt to pool, test the water to check salt level. 2. If the level is low, add salt; If the level is high, then dilute pool water. 3. Use HOICATED pool salt tester check salt level again. 4. Ensure salt level between 2700-3400ppm, the salt cell converts sodium chloride into chlorine.
High Accuracy Probe
Use more stable and sensitive sensors to make your measurements more accurate.
After each use, the electrode should be cleaned and dried in time to prevent damage to the electrode.
Backlight Display with Alerts
When the salt level is less than 2700ppm or higher than 3400ppm, the green backlight display will change to red to alert you. Because if the salt level is too low, the salt machine will not produce the right amount of chlorine; If the salt level is too high, it may cause damage to saltwater pool.
With LCD backlit digital display, measurement results can be obtained quickly. Compared with salt test paper, it is more convenient to use and can be reused.
Works only for salt water pools/swimming pools/spas. Will NOT work for marine/salt water fish tank/food salt level testing.

Never was really very accurate, and stopped working after a year. Temperature works well, pretty accurate, however the salt ppm once placed in the pool reads nothing, take it out and the reading jumps and displays 2150 ppm for about a second and starts decreasing to 0. Not worth the money.

I use this to test my salt water pool. Very easy to use. Stick the end in the water, press the button & get immediate salt content in ppm & temperature. Durable. Wrist strap so you can’t lose it in the pool! The box & molded insert are great for storing. I recommend this tester.

This product does well but then stops reading at about 1 year of use. The batteries have been replaced and still, the reading is not working properly.
