IDK if I really needed to worry about someone looking through my peephole but this was really easy to install and gave some peace of mind.It's worth noting that I have a peephole that is almost completely flush on the inside of my door. It doesn't stick out. If I had an older one that popped out it wouldn't have worked.Honestly I feel like this wouldn't have worked for me with every peephole I've had, but because my apartment somehow has one that sticks out of the inside less than a millimeter it did the job.

Really great product. Looks really good on my door. It covers the peephole completely, and makes it hard for anyone to see inside. The cover moves easily, so I can see outside when I need to. So, this functions very well. This was easy to install, and the size is just right for what I needed it for. I would definitely buy this item again it's worth the money spent.
