At first you think it works well. After a day or so, you can tell the transmission doesn’t know when to shift with the pedal position. Not a good item at all!! If I could return it, I would. Definitely not destroying my transmission. Hopefully the company will reach out and allow me to return it. Was only in my truck for a week.

All I needed to get this installed was a pick tool to help me get the throttle plug out and a couple extra zip ties to make it easier to reach them. I just clipped them off in the end.The Pedal Commander itself is a very cool idea, even cooler in modern times where very strict fuel emissions standards have taken the teeth out of most cars. The Ranger is no exception.I love that I have been able to find the sweet spots that match my usual modes: cruise-to-work, hurry-up, and save-me-gas-on-this-neverending-road-trip.I debated on this model and their sister product that doesn't use the keypad. They are both good, but for someone who doesn't want to have to turn to their phone to change modes it's the Pedal Commander all the way.My dealer is known for calling out "aftermarket" stuff in an effort to deny warranties, so I love that it's as simple to remove before service as it is to install. Just a couple minutes. No trace left behind.

I got this pedal commander for my 2023 Ford Ranger. This is a plug and play kit witch takes about 5 minutes to install. There are numerous settings for you to choose from. I run mine on the high side and it completely eliminates the hesitation that the factory throttle response has!! It is literally a different driving experience!! i Love that it also has an app where you can control the throttle response. NO this does not add horse power but it does feel like it. It also comes very helpful when pulling a trailer to get up to high speeds quick. This is the 3rd vehicle i use pedal commander on and will continue using it for all my cars.

This is a great hack for better performance without an invasive process. It's pretty easy to to install. Pretty much plug and play functionality! It has a couple modes saved, which are programmable. Overall, it does a good job of decreasing artificial throttle lag! Great product.

Ford Rangers have had an issue with the drive by wire system since it was introduced in 2007, specifically the throttle response delay between gears and from a dead stop. This is not exactly a tuner, as it is designed to eliminate and streamline the response from electronic pedal position input into an immediate response from the electronic throttle position sensor

Since I have a travel trailer, and I needed something to give my car engine some power, I got this throttle and works perfectly on my Ranger. It takes less than 5 minutes to set up this device, and it's very easy to use, so it could be controlled remotely with a phone or manually from the device. In addition, it has 4 modes which are Eco, City, Sport, and Sport+, so if you want more speed, sport+ does an amazing job, but if you are looking forward to save some gas, Eco is there for you. Highly suggested

This is a super easy device to install. It fits right into the wiring with the included plugs. But this is just the beginning. This is a unit that needs to be tuned to how you drive and how your truck responds. At first, I didn’t like it at all, but when I studied the instructions, I could see where I could improve upon its functionality. Now I’m very satisfied, although I generally run in the normal position it really can take and control how your throttle response. It seems very durable too, as to the value I’m not sure that this is really worth that much money, but it does the job so I think it is worth it overtime.
