Ok, so this isn't an inverter. There's another pretty disgruntled review in here about that. Seems like that's obvious getting into this, but the description does say it so just know that this is your standard RV battery charger / power supply. We'll knock one star off just for the incorrect description. This charger in particular, however, is perfect for my LiTime LFP batteries that require a 14.4 charging voltage. This chargers absorption voltage is right at 14.4, which is required by the battery for charging. Then float voltage is 13.6 volts, which is perfect for my new batteries as well. Seems like the product description is plagued by translation error, but the performance of the actual product is quite well for those needing a good high current charger for their LFP batteries.

Before ordering this device, I looked at all the pictures and read all of the information that was available on the product description page. However, there were things that simply were not clear to me. So I also did a "Rufus" search (Amazons AI search engine) for the keywords “inverter or converter.” Rufus reported this: “The PD9260C is both an inverter and a converter. It converts 105-130VAC input to 13.6VDC to charge batteries, and can also invert 13.6VDC to 105-130VAC to power loads.” So I ordered this unit with both skepticism and hopes of being wrong. It is time to make note of something else here as well. In places this unit is referred to as model PD9260C, and in other places (such as its very own owners manual) it is referred to as an FD series unit. If you zoom in on the picture of the unit, it has the number FD9260C on the unit itself....go figure, but accuracy matters.After the unit came in, I reached for the instructions to see what I could find. The instructions is one sheet of paper with both sides printed (see pics). The instruction do not say the word “inverter” even once.A “converter” changes AC voltage to DC voltage. An “inverter” changes DC voltage to AC voltage. The unit is labeled as doing both in the product description and the Rufus answer. That info is not correct.This unit is a converter/battery charger only. It does NOT invert DC voltage into AC voltage. If you purchase based on the information provided on the product information page. You will get a converter/charger only, not both converter and inverter. The unit is not an inverter as well. It does charge a 12 VDC battery. It does NOT have any AC output connections. It does NOT supply AC voltage back through the AC input connection. Without those connections, there are NO inverter functions that can occur.As a customer, we order items based on what we read about them. That is all we have to go by. We search, and we research and we hope to make the best decisions based on that info. This unit is what it is...that is all. But it simply is NOT what the description says it is, that is unfortunate.
