For my application, this was beyond perfect! The offset wheel from the axle is the whole reason I got this! Not to mention the price is unbeatable for ANYTHING similar! It's an 8 inch wheel with a large arbor and comes with a smooth handle and flat, polished wheel ring! The only small thing is that it had light patches of surface rust, but for ME that isn't a deal breaker.....just a small inconvenience!

Just what I was looking for to crank this 40:1 gear box.At first I was afraid the handle would unscrew from the hand wheel as I cranked but I tightened it super tight and she stays on just fine.For me, the finish is fine. It's not 100% shiny chrome but I didn't expect it to be.For cranking this gear box the item performs as it should. No wobble, no complaints.

There is a indentation on the edge of the wheel where the casting process had a flaw. The crank handle has a gouged area on the tip of the handle. The finish is poor quality and the underlying metal was not machined smooth before application. The center hole is 7.1 inches as stated but the hole is not cleanly machined. I need a .750 inch hole so I can machine it out. The crank handle fits the wheel tightly. This is a low quality item that is not worth the price they ask. I would not buy it again.

I waffled on 3 stars vs 4. It’s chromed and decently so. I dislike that mine has edges on the wheel that feel sharp and uncomfortable. I find it irritating, if I smooth off this edges then it will damage the chrome. If they were not going to spend the time to smooth off those edges, I would have rather they didn’t chrome it. So be aware. Pricing is good at the time of purchase.

You get what you pay for. The one I received the bore was off-set and crooked . If the wobble will bother you you should not buy it. It doesn’t have a set screw but was easy to drill and tap.
