Our Backer Rod is perfect for a wide range of applications, including construction, plumbing, and automotive projects. It effectively fills gaps and joints, preventing the infiltration of air, water, and dust, ensuring a tight and long-lasting seal.

Instruction
Simply insert it into gaps and joints to create a firm and stable foundation for sealants. It can be easily trimmed to the desired length using scissors or standard cutting tools.

Before using our Backer Rod, ensure that the joint or gap is clean and free from debris. It is recommended to choose a Backer Rod diameter that is slightly larger than the joint width for optimal performance. Regular inspection and maintenance are advised to ensure the integrity of the seal.

This product was brilliant to fill the large gaps we had between the door frame and architrave. So quick to fit into gap then easily filled over the edge to save heaps of filler cost and just finish the edge nicely. Would definitly recommend this for even first time DIY’ers and for those looking for an affordable solution as opposed to hiring a contractor to do it.
