Worked perfectly. I bought this to replace the one that one of my sons lost (teenage boys are really good at losing tools). This replacement was inexpensive and does its job like a champ.

This is a perfect fit for my Shimano and cheaper big box store bike freewheels!! I bought a could other cheaper brands first, and wish I got this from the start! Top notch quality and perfect fit! Spend the extra $2-3 and get the right tool the first time!

Replaced two free wheels, both were very simple and easy to remove with this tool. Make sure your wheel has the correct notches to fit this piece. But if it does this will work for you.

It works with Shimano freewheel cassette. Probably better than generic, just 3-4 dollars more.

I've always loved the build quality of park tools but this one exceeded my expectations completely. It worked great on my Lectric XP 2.0 it fit right and overall is a good value for money.

Park tools are expensive but work the way they should. No guessing or buying a cheapy first then buying the right one later. Save the first cheap purchase and buy park. Cycle shops use this brand for a very good reason.

Had to remove a stuck freewheel from an old bike. This tool seems to be the ‘benchmark’ for removing freewheels, and for good reason, A world of difference between this and other cheaper Chinese imitations. The other ones all have soft steel, which deforms and slips once pressure is applied. Save yourself money and time - buy this one.

Bike tools are new to me but buying a tool that I will only use once in a while is nothing new to me but is something I am not a fan of, because I feel it can be a waste of money. Now I don't have these anymore but for example back when I was really into Electronics: Computers, Video Game consoles and Handheld Video Game consoles etc., I needed a tri-wing screwdriver for one of my handhelds, and a special security screwdriver set for my home game consoles. (Which I had gotten from my Aunt and Uncle for Christmas several years back) to remove the screws holding the shells of the item together in case I needed to service the inside. Sorry to get off topic... Anyways in a similar way, I needed specialty tools for my bike as I did for my former Electronics venture.I needed a Freewheel Remover tool to get my freewheel off, something I may use once in a blue moon. At first, I called Park Tool Customer Service and asked and told me to get the Park Tool 5.2 cassette Remover tool and bought a Park Tool 5.2 Cassette remover tool. However, after trying to put the tool in it didn't do anything. It wasn't until I watched a video that realized what I had was a Freewheel, not a Cassette. Once I got the Park Tool FR-1.3 freewheel remover tool the tool was amazing, it did the job perfectly! I was able to get my freewheel off with ease and realized that there was no way I could remove my freewheel without this Freewheel remover tool. Park Tool tools and products are not cheap but in the long run, save money because 85% of them are American made for the most part while the remaining 15% are made overseas. That's not bad all things considered. Unlike getting cheap non-brand/off brand name tools that are made overseas! Then again it all depends on the manufacturer, quality of the product and the price and it comes down to what one can afford. So I'm happy that I bought this. It got the job done, and I've used on a clients bike as well. Definitely going to buy the other freewheel tools!
