My husband does the majority of the cooking in our household, so when I bought these all-purpose scissors, I chose them not for kitchen use. I don't think he would appreciate the pink color. I'm using them as general household scissors for opening Amazon packaging, etc. For this purpose, they are great. I'm a lefty, and although these are not advertised for left-handed people, they do work slick.

Some of the Paris Hilton kitchen items are just....well....stupid, but every now and again she does havew something that is really cute and this kitchen shears set is just that with its pink handles and the gold metal blades. The shears are two different types with one having the extra bottle opener. The construction seems good quality and are affordable. I have used both pair but I prefer the darker colored pink pair. I use them for everything from cutting meat to houseplants and even some careful hair trimming, Its a great product and I recommend them.
