Yes they are scissors - so sharp it's important. They are very sharp. Handle is a nice shape and easy to hold. But they are also pretty.

My martha stewart ones broke within weeks of getting them for my kitchen. Replaced it with these and WOW! Super durable. Really pretty and match my kitchen . Easy to clean. Great great option for the price. Super sharp. Not too big, they fit in my martha stewart nice block set perfectly.

The scissors are lovely, but despite the description saying they are pecan wood, the handles are more of a plastic resin with a matte finish to look like wood. However they still look nice and I am still pleased, but I would have liked to have known that before purchasing.

Well made and study scissors it’s got a heavy blade and although the handle is plastic it really goes well with wooden elements as it’s for a soft real look to it. Easy to clean and maintain with no wear to the handle. I use it in the kitchen maybe q bit larger one would be nicer but only found this size and it’s the only wooden like handle scissor I could find for a nice kitchen matching set

Buscaba unas tijeras que simularán el mango de madera y encontré estas. No es madera es plástico y están geniales, no les ha pasado nada y ya tengo varios meses con ellas, las uso en la cocina para abrir las bolsas (cereal, sopa, avena etc)
