I have a disgusting and Quite stinky linolated parakeet called Bean. He hates washing he hates when I spray him with the bottle, he just does not like being clean. However, within 20 minutes of this been installed in the cage. He was in washing and cleaning his feathers. He has not looked this shiny since I first got him and he has stopped smelling like cheese I don’t know why but this birdbath deserves 10 out of 10 stars.

I really like the thoughtful design of this nice birdbath for pet birds. Most baths have to be removed from the cage to change or add more water to the bottom. This one however has a drawer in which the water is placed. By flipping up an outside handle, the drawer can be removed to tend to the water. The exterior of the bath remains on the cage always. It comes with a screw attachment for the cage. It fits nicely on the outside of a birdcage door for the bird to enter and enjoy the bath. Very nice!

keeps water off the floor so the papers dont stick to the cage bottoms! amazing have them on most of my bird cages.

This bird bath was sort of easy to install, but not effortless. Our bird cage is fairly small, 14 in x 12 in x 22 or 24 in tall at best, and this thing is relatively huge in comparison. I'm not certain it uses standard measurements like most bird cage perch rods or food and water dishes do. I made it work. I realize a small bird needs to be able to fit into it as a bird bath, but it would definitely be better suited to a larger bird cage. However, it's probably only usable as a water or food dish for larger birds like parrots or conures. Nothing larger than a parakeet would fit into it for a bath. The pull-out drawer is very convenient for cleaning and refilling. I wish I had ordered the clear one so that it was easier to see the water level. I honestly don't know whether to recommend it or not. I think it would be great as a bird bath for folks who have small flight birds in very large cages or as a food/water dish for people who have large birds that consume a lot of food or water on a daily basis.

One of my birds actively using it, but the other one just drinks water. Love that it's transparent and you can see them playing, no more mess in the cage.

A while back I got one of these bird baths but it was very cumbersome and my husband ended up tossing it away. Our neighborhood is full of outdoor cats so we need to bring them in at night. The other bath was much bigger and setting it in place and then having to remove it to bring it in was annoying (or otherwise the water would spill). This bird bath is made of good quality and once installed you don't have to remove to add water, food or whatever you want to use it for. The train slides out and there is a part that slides up/down and covers the hole so the feathered ones don't escape.I absolutely love this design and find it very convenient. My birds are afraid of everything in this world so I just installed it and will let them become familiar with it so hopefully one day they will find it friendly enough to go in.

This is a nice birdbath for a parakeet. So far, my little Kiwi has not actually taken a bath but he has taken a sip of water. For over 2 years, he has always bathed in my hands in the kitchen sink so having his own private bath will take some getting used to. I wanted to put it on his cage but could not figure out a way to make that work. If I put it on the outside, then the fitted cage cover will not fit at night. Other than setting it on the bottom, I could not figure out how to make it work inside. So I ended up placing it on the shelf with his toys. He spends the majority of his daytime out of the cage so that area was the next best choice. The bath is nice and I hope he will eventually trust it so he can bathe whenever he wants.
