Our parakeets love this bath, but it is one that can’t stay in the cage as it is too large to connect to the side. It has good spacing for them to get inside and flip the water onto them, while keeping the water within the box. The size does fit thru the entrance of our cage, but it may not fit in a smaller cage.

i love most of the baths i have, but this one has several deal breaking flaws, first the bottom is really hard to attach to the top meaning it'll have to be fully disconnected each time it is filled, secondly and more importantly, there is a drain plug, so its either going to be coated in. gross bird poop and sludge from dunkers that you have to fish out and scrub off before re inserting it, or worse and more likely pulled out by a bird and have that nasty water all over the floor, and with it being a soft silicone it'll likely be chewed up and useless and unable to hold water from then forward regardless. I see this more as a hazard and will not be using this for any of my birds. it might work for a finch, but anything larger i would not recommend. additionally, the disconnecting isn't just the bottom its the whole unit since it clips into place and would splash about since its a hard clip and a messy attachment i have to hold it sideways and finagle it into place since its not shaped to easily attach, most of these just have the bottoms slide out. missed the mark on this one sorry fam.

This is my first Parakeets since I was a young child, we didn't have a bath then. I've seen them lately in pet stores and thought I'd try it. This one looked easy to asemble and easy to take out to clean and it is!!! It has a hole in the top so you put it on the cage empty, then pour in the water thru the hole in the top. I use my measuring cup because it has a pour spout on it. I haven't figured how much water but watch as the bottom fills with water. my birds took half a day to investigate it, from afar and then fought over who was going to get in first!
