DIAPHANORNIS Guillotine Paper Cutter can cut up to 12 sheets of 20 lb paper at one time. The curved guillotine blade features a self-sharpening system that keeps the hardened stainless steel blade sharp for each cut.

Ideal Accuracy with Alignment Grid
The vertical scale on the left and the dual scale ruler on the top, with precise marks in inches and centimeters, are both accurately aligned with the grid.

Six anti-slip rubber pads are added to the bottom of the paper cutter to stabilize each cut on flat platforms.

This is a very well designed paper cutter. It takes a little practice getting used to where the cut starts but once you get that it's a perfect every time. I use it for photographs and to cut paper for projects. I spent a lot of time trying to do it by hand and wasting paper and photo paper which adds up. It's a nice size where I can just put it on the side of my art cart and it has a lock to keep the blade in place. You can basically use it for anything and you don't have to stress over if it's straight or not. I love it

I am a card crafter, this guillotine paper cutter meets all my needs for cutting in my craft room. The blade is sharp, cuts are precise, and markings are accurate. The blade has a guard when it is in the closed position and the arm has a safety mechanism. Looking forward to many years of use with this cutter.

I bought this Diaphanornis guillotine paper cutter for snapshot photographs to frame and 67 lb cardstock.Quality: extremely CHEAP lightweight plastic. 2 stars off for that even for the lower price. But I come from an old generation of proud American and German craftsmanship and high quality natural materials for middle-class prices. However lightweight, this Made in China device does have a somewhat weighted base with rubber feet that do help keep the device in place on the work surface.The blade is sharp, makes clean, crisp cuts on single sheets. I don’t do multiple sheets, can’t rate that. Blade is claimed to be self-sharpening stainless steel. Too soon to verify the truth of that.The only assembly was an end piece, the handle, to the blade, supposed to be in lock position when pushing on. It was a tight fit, easily,applied with gentle tapping of a common household hammer. The lock function holding the blade safely down works nicely, but I have to wonder how long the stub of cheap plastic acting as the latch will last before breaking.The ruler and line guides in inches & cm are precise; you have to be precise in using them to size your work and align it straight. I end up having to use long craft scissors to trim off fractional excess on the borders of photos and greeting cards. Which defeats the purpose of investing in this cutting device. Getting familiarized with it and its aids and with practice, my cuts should be right on the line. And it does cut straight.The paper clamp is flimsy but holds the paper in place while cutting and keeps the fingers from losing their tips under the smooth and slick guillotine action.All in all, it performs adequately for my hobbyist needs. With care, the thin, brittle plastic might prove durable I would not recommend this paper cutter for a small business person. Look for a really heavy duty one, more costly for sure.

I’m a retired teacher & I have all kinds of little projects that I still need to do, but now without my good school equipment. I appreciate this reasonably priced, lightweight, sharp cutter.
