My "bedroom TV" is a pico-projector that is mounted via a camera mount to the wooden headboard of my bed. It projects onto the ceiling. It is a bit noisy, so I bought this to isolate the projector from the headboard. It works great! There is still fan noise, but this isolator eliminated the vibration that was previously transferred to the headboard. And it was very easy to install with the 1/4"-20 threads -- I simply replaced part of the camera mount with the isolator.
