It was a little bit long to fit in the place where I wanted it, and I grinded-off the wheel fork, kept the square base above the wheel. It is wobbly- I do not know if it is suppose to be that way- do not have too much experience with such things. I do understand it had to have some freedom to turn around but in my opinion it must not wobble too much. My neighbor has similar Jack with the wheel and ~10 ft alumnium trailer with fishing boat on it- I see the wheel rolled forward and now the jack does not stay vertically but somewhat about 30 degree angle. Mine stays vertically because as I said I cut-off the wheel and put it on 2x4 piece. It looks solid and does work so far. I'm not sure about this "wheel-ed" design. I took off 1 star because of this "wobbliness". Probably some kind of "Wheel Feet" or "Wheel Brake" will help to stabilize the wheel to keep it from the moving forward under the tongue load. Just for the record- the tongue weight is NOT heavy- may be about 30 lbs.

Bought this so my boat trailer didn't have the hitch in the dirt. I can't say much about how much weight it will hold because my boat has almost no tongue weight. It mounted really easy and has a lot of travel.
