Fits my recipe cards perfectly. This is nicer than my old broken file box.

I received my 3-by-5 card box today. The label came right off. The box clicks closed. It's sturdy and balanced. It is a great bargain at the price. My card sits in the groove on top. Don't hesitate to buy

This is an inexpensive item. Clearly you take a chance that it will not be functional. What I got is absolutely functional. It stays shut and has enough vertical room for tabs. The sticker came off by soaking it overnight in Dawn and hot water. Easy peasy. When I fill this I will likely order another.

No viene con las cartas. No es lo que he querido. Muy caro para lo que es.

Measuring outside at the widest point 5.5 inches wide, 3.5 inches tall and 3.5 inches deep, this a pretty standard size for regular 3x5 recipe cards, and has room for my tabbed dividers without any curling or adjustment. The plastic seems quite sturdy and I have no problems with the latch, in fact if anything it's currently a little stiff. It looks good and it has a grove on the top to hold a single card or two while you cook or otherwise use the cards. It also doesn't interfere with the interior cards. I currently have about a pack and a half of cards, and two different kinds of dividers (I'm using it for a S.H.E. set) and there's plenty of room for more. Worth the price, even if I have to replace in a couple of years, but I doubt I will have to.

Exactly what I was looking for. My one criticism is that the cards are a little thin. However I can now transfer recipes from odd bits of paper onto the cards and save time not hunting for the one I want.

Took a while to arrive but they are fit for purpose

Kinda what I expected. A bit flimsy, cheap plastic. What I did not like is that there was a gigantic white sticker on the entire front (minus one star). And the worst is that you cannot even remove the ugly sticker without a sticky and white residue (minus another star). Would be great if lid and base would be the same height, so you can actually use it open on both sides. Oh well, I guess you get what you pay for.

While somewhat cheaper and flimsier than I was expecting, these index card boxes do exactly what they're supposed to do. Notches on the bottom of the boxes make it possible to stack them, though you have to do it in a back and forth fashion, so half of the stack will be facing forward and half will be facing back. The latch seems secure and was able to keep the box closed after I dropped it from around 4 feet in the air onto a carpeted floor. Of the two I received, one was significantly scuffed and dusty while the other was in mint condition, so your mileage may vary. They are a bit top heavy, so you'll need a couple hundred cards in them to keep them steady.

The box is made of regular plastic, it closes smoothly with no effort. Fits regular 3x5 cards with some kind of tabs on the top (has extra height). Seems pretty durable, but again it does not close with hinges, so the top may or might not fall off with constant wear. Great for the price and serves an office function.
