This shovel is great, except for one minor thing. That minor thing caused me to pinch my finger and get a blister upon first trying to extend it. Watch your finger placement when you grab the locking collar and slide it towards the handle. It resisted, then gave and I pinched my finger between the collar and another piece. I immediately wrapped a strip of black duct tape around the offending area to stop this from ever happening again. Otherwise seems quite durable.I've honestly not used it yet, because who wants to shovel snow if they don't need to? I'm confident that it'll be fine though.

I bought it to put in my car's winter emergency kit. The shovel is well-made, easy to put together, and helpful in removing/breaking up ice and snow around the car and under the tires. It comes with a waterproof bag for easy storage and an ice scraper. I was not impressed with the ice scraper, but if you do not have one, it is better than none. Considering I bought this for the shovel, not the ice scraper, I am very impressed and would repurchase it.

I wanted a small sturdy shovel for my smalle driveway. I didnt need a big shovel because it would be hard to manuever and get around my car when it snowed. This was the perfect solution. I didnt have any trouble digging out my car in my smaller driveway. This is a great shovel for emergencies too.I wouldnt recommend this if you have a large driveway that you need to shovel

Works for my purposes. Check measurement as the length of the shovel is not that big. More compact but sturdy and can disassemble.

We took this with us to a ski trip and used to clean the snow under the tires in the parking lot. It works great, one star less for a bit of loosening at the connector point. Still, did not take away from the main function of the shovel.

This type of shovel can come in handy for shoveling out snow that is in the way for access to the vehicle, or to move some snow out of the way. It is very light to use it. It does not take a huge amount of snow at a time, and therefore keeps it light and easier to use than a full size shovel. This shovel comes with an ice scraper. This is an added convenience.Even unfolded it will take less room in the back of the vehicle than a full size shovel. I am leaving this shovel put together rather than having to assemble it in very cold snow type weather.The shovel being metal will become very cold for the hands in below freezing temperatures. Even if wearing ordinary winter gloves the cold will eventually go through the gloves. What I did was get some insulating sponge tubing. I cut the tubing to the proper length for each section and slid it over on top. This made the shovel have a foam type covering, and make an excellent insulated grip.I used MECCANIXITY Foam Tube Sponge Protective Sleeve Black Seal Sleeve Polyethylene Pipe 30 mm (1.2 Inch) ID for Pipe Insulation. Worked out perfectly!I would recommend this shovel for practicality when having to clear some snow around the vehicle. It would be too small for shoveling out a driveway or a walk, but perfect to use around a vehicle. It can also work very well a kid's shovel. It is very light, safe, and easy to use.

I like it. I expect the coating to be flake off very quickly. Be careful to dry this off before storing it. Despite the cheap finish, I can tell this will remain functional for several years. The frost scraper is the worst design and construction I had ever seen. I'll use my library card before I use this piece of junk.
