I bought this overhead garage rack hoping to finally get my storage totes organized and easily accessible. It's definitely sturdy – made of heavy-duty metal, and it feels like it could hold a ton of weight (they say 530 lbs, which seems plausible). I bet you could even use it as a pull-up bar! The claim that it sets up in 10 minutes? Laughable. It took me a good few hours, mainly because finding the ceiling studs and sinking those lag bolts was a real pain. No way is it a 10-minute job. It does fit those standard black and yellow bins from the home improvement stores perfectly, though. Just be careful not to overfill them, or they might bump against the ceiling. Each 4-foot section of the rack has plenty of room for most bins. It's a bit expensive, but honestly, it's still cheaper than getting a whole new storage shed, and it's a great way to maximize space. I definitely recommend it if you're looking for a solid overhead storage solution. Can't recommend this thing enough for storage.

Not really much to say that the title doesn't already say, they feel nice and sturdy, is easy to set up. This really works best with low ceilings, Unfortunately my garage ceilings are quite high so I had to build a platform to hang these from. Coincidentally that gives me additional storage space on top.

Bracket that slides in ceiling mount when tightened pulled out on one. By time you discover faulty part you have already spent a couple hours mounting it. Not finding a way to get replacement part only to take it down and return the entire rack. Good idea, not too hard to mount but terrible directions. Found video of "similar" bracket that was designed with same concept to get the job done.

We have too much stuff and always need more storage space. These rails are a great way to use the otherwise under utilized space of the garage ceiling to add extra storage. When we went to install these, we actually discovered that the drywall was starting to come down on part of the garage ceiling. So we postponed the installation in order to hire someone to replace the drywall. The great benefit to that is that when we had the drywall guy in, we had him do both the drywall and then install these rails -- so for us, installation was taken care of! We've loaded these with storage containers -- though I am careful not to put anything too heavy in them -- because, after all it's still plastic storage bins that I'm putting up there and they can strain and bend if there's too much weight in them. I store light to medium weight stuff up there that I don't need to access often, because getting them down means climbing up on a ladder and potentially moving a bin or bins to get the one that you want. One note of advise - make sure you know what storage bin contains what so that you don;t have to take them down to find out.

This product is very high quality. It’s easy to install once and adjusts to your needs. I was able to set it up to hold (10) of the regular 27 gallon totes. The only problem I had was that it gives you about 2” of space to slide the top of the totes, but they seem to have more than that and I have to force them to go in. I already bought some washers that I will use as spacers, so the totes can slide freely.

Got these for some additional storage space in the garage. The assembly was easy, heavy duty quality, and capacity is great. Totes slide in and hold a lot. I may have to pickup another set or two, great value for the space you regain. Over all very happy with the product.

The way this mounts with the cross bars makes the install much easier. Very sturdy and it would be my preferred method. On this particular kit the mounting hardware is pressed together and i had one come apart. I was able to knock it back together and I added a nut as a back up.

I just got these and haven't had a chance to install them yet, but they look very sturdy, and will be great for getting totes off the floor and out of the way. I plan to use them to store Christmas decorations, which only need to be taken out once a year. This will help keep my garage neat and tidy!
