Let me start by saying this is amazing quality heavy duty and great extra storage. I loved the idea but I’m a small woman so I had to recruit help. They had to add some extra supportive wooden planks to secure it because it does recommend use with concrete. Rulings not wooden rafters. With that said it is such great quality it will last for years to come.

This product is very heavy but definitely feels very sturdy. This is a big plus as it is being hung above items that you don't to have fall on top of. I did see on the description that it is preferred to be used on concrete wall. This in my opinion would be best to be seen easier. Like anything, there is always a way to make things work. I have an old garage so I did have to improvise to make this shelf work. It is time consuming and definitely need a couple of people to make the install go really easy. This has great storage capacity and the functionality is well thought. I do recommend, but need to make sure you have the space to make this work.

While this is a very heavy duty ceiling mount shelf, there is a note on the bottom of the ad that says it's for concrete ceilings.I, like most Americans have wood rafter ceilings. There are 4 holes for each ceiling mount so only 2 of these holes will line up to the studs. I think I'll be buying 2 long boards and wood screws to properly secure the mounting plates.This should have been made more obvious in the advertisement.

This thing is definitely having duty with sick heavyweight bars on it.I've yet to install it in the garage.Because I don't really have a space fort but it looks nice

This is very heavy duty and it will work as long as you have the space for it. I thought this was going to work for my garage but I only have one spot where it can be installed and then I need to move the shelving and there is no place to put the shelving. I have a large garage but one side has a freezer, the other two windows, and the back an entire heavy weight lifting gym. So I can't have this installed until the shed is built which is where the shelves on wheels are going. My carpenter has looked at this and said it is very easy to install and must be installed into studs which he will do with the proper screws. I am going to use it to store my Christmas decorations. I can't wait to have this installed.

Very very heavy when it arrives. Never gotten something so heavy. But that just gets the quality if this item. It's so well made and made to last foreverIt's not cheap BUT you're getting something made to last . Obviously it must be installed so get a couple really strong men or hire someone to install. It's worth it tho. I'm sooo happy to have it up and have everything in It's place againI do recommend. If youre looking for something like this I say go with quality I promise you'll be happy you did. :) I wouldn't say it if I didn't mean it
