Used to mount an overhead webcam for desktop shots. The mount works well but is fairly lightweight so I would only use it with smaller cameras. It is stable enough in my situation but I do notice that some of the desk vibration goes up the pole so I am thinking I will mount it to something else for some isolation.

The stand that came with my light ring/PC camera holder was really bulky. So when I saw this fairly sleek arm that attaches to my desk (I actually mounted it to my computer stand to get a good position). The arm articulates well and locks in place once tightened. I've had it up since I got it and haven't had to tighten anything.

made of high-quality metal and super sturdy, and will adjust to any angle necessary. It works great for me and will be an asset to anyone purchasing.

This overhead camera mount showed up in my Vine list at just the right time. As I’m setting up a studio to film all my Vine reviews on my YouTube channel, it’s already proving to be a great addition for those overhead shots. Sure, I could’ve rigged up a tripod boom stand, but this mount feels like the better option for capturing close-up angles with precision. The build quality is solid—it looks like it can handle both my creative ideas and the wear-and-tear I inevitably put my gear through. Paired with a GoPro macro lens, it’s shaping up to be the perfect setup for detailed product shots.Final verdict: 4 stars. Sturdy, versatile, and well-suited for overhead work. It’s a game-changer for studio filming—just not quite flawless enough to hit the 5-star mark.

This desktop camera mount is solid and works well for securely holding my camera, phone, or light. The design is sleek, and the functionality is reliable, making it a great addition to my setup. That said, I wish the mounting base was more versatile and had a rubberized finish for added stability and protection against slipping. It’s still a good product, but an improved base would make it even better. A strong option if you’re okay with the current mounting design.

All the joints on this arm tighten down well and hold their place. It's strong enough to hold a camera or similar. Just keep in mind it only has a 1/4-20 bolt on the end so you need something that's meant to be put on a tripod. There's no way included for mounting a phone or tablet or anything like that. (there's one photo in the listing that shows a tablet mount on the arm, but that is NOT included) As long as you want the tripod type mount (or have your own way to attach something else) it's a great arm with a lot of adjustment and reach.

This is a sturdy, well-made camera arm. But once my wife spotted it, she seized it for her own use to shine an LED light over her sewing machine. The two things she liked most were (1) its steadiness while her sewing machine thumped along, and (2) the extreme flexibility and manuverability of the arm. See attached photo. Excellent product to hold something firmly and steadily in place - camera or otherwise.

I find this adjustable camera arm quite fleible in both positioning and uses. With the 1/4" screw mount it is very versatile and can serve multiple purposes, and I absolutely love "handy dandy do all" tools. I can use this for everything from cameras to lights to even a monocular/spotting scope/telescope I can look out onto the ocean with to view fishing vessels, etc (I live in a small coastal town). The number of adjustment points on this thing makes it very adaptable. It was a good choice and I'm delighted with it.
