This design has been around for a while and is quite effective. The construction is well made with no burrs, snag points or aesthetic defects. Pricing beats many other offerings, without sacrificing quality. Very happy with this purchase.

This is a metal tripod for small use-- in bed, or at the desk. I use this while in the hot tub. All metal, with a slight oil odor-- I washed it off. Works great and smartly put together. Easy to tilt and orientate the phone. Good legs and cushion.

It appears to do what it is designed. Wish it was moresturdy,but for the lengths mentioned it works well
