This product did not stand up to the heat recommended for grills and it literally was burnt so bad that I could not salvage it. I reallyWanted to like this product, but with only one use and that happening, I wonder if I received a defective product.

cedar plank (purchased from Amazon) fit perfectly. Wish there were multiple slots for cedar planks to cook for large events;

This is a good, but not exceptional, value. The wood is a good thickness and quality, and it's pretty much cheaper than most places you'll find in store, and better quality for the price. You can find cheaper boards elsewhere with some shopping and waiting for sales, but this is a solid value for the price when you don't have the time to search. Just make sure you soak it first before grilling with them, as you do with any cedar board.

Used these cedar planks to make bagel boards. They worked pretty well, but because bagel boards require soaking and these aren't the thickest of planks, you might expect a few cracks to develop. Have used the other two for plank steak and salmon. Amazing. Would recommend.

At the time of writing this grill set was $32.99I love BBQing. I try to do it as much as possible. Seeing this item for review made me very happy and excited. I've never had a chance to use something like this before, so I am more than happy to review it.First off, I seasoned it. I put it in my smoker two full times before I used it so that I can "break it In". This will make it more non stick and easier to use. I put peppers, potatoes, and slices of onions on there and used it like a wok. For the most part, nothing stuck. I was very happy about this. Nothing worse than cleaning cooked on surfaces.I haven't been able to use a wood plank yet. I haven't been able to find anything that will fit specifically, in town. I will have to order one online from Outset. I've heard good things about them.There's definitely some discoloration. There's going to be heat damage and smoke damage. I was already prepared for this. Be prepared to lose the pretty stainless steel look after a few uses.I don't see a maximum temperature for this grill grid. I had it inside my cook box at 600f for 10 minutes with no issues. Nothing I've thrown at it so far seems to bother it.Over all very happy with this, and I will be using it as much as possible this summer.
