Great item. Ordered a backup pair to have just in case. Highly recommend!

Very pleased with these cleats. Have used them for going on five years with no problem. If you want to have confidence in walking on ice in the wintertime, then these should fit the bill. I fell numerous time working on my farm before buying these cleats. To date, I haven't fallen once. They are heavy-duty and will last many years.

Bought these spikes a couple years ago, and have used several times for winter hikes on packed snow. They work great, as well as any fancy $50 pair of microspikes! The one annoyance is that sometimes the chains become unhooked (or hooked to something unwanted) in storage/transit, so it's best practice to check them before each trip. Also, the bag they come in is a bit flimsy, (carrying strap fell off on first use), but nobody buys them for the bag... Overall, would highly recommend! I'm considering buying a second pair for all the times someone in the group forgets their spikes.

These worked great for about 10 moderate to difficult mountain hikes, but have recently broken. I understand they are pretty cheap, but I was a bit surprised by how quickly they broke. If you're planning on using them for flat/easy walks, they are probably fine, but otherwise they will not hold up.

I picked these up for a trip down to southern Utah this past weekend and was not disappointed. There's a short section on the hike up to Delicate Arch which can be unnerving on a dry day but is absolutely treacherous when there's a layer of ice -- and it felt pretty good to be the only person out there not sliding around terrified (or turning around and missing the view altogether).I can't yet speak to the long-term durability of these, but I've put around three miles on them so far and they're holding up nicely. As an added bonus, having a carrying case is a nice touch to let you carry these in a pocket without worry that they'll rip your jacket lining.

Only used a few times so far but it worked well. Hiked up mountain and the trail was mostly ice. The cleats dug in well and I had plenty of traction. None of the chains broke or had any problems. Limited experience with these so I'll have to see how they hold up over time.

For traction they work very well, but They broke midway through only the second hike I took them on. The back chain or link ripped right through where it attached to the rubber. This was after less then 20 miles of use in mostly hard packed snow.

Used these a number of times with COMPLETE satisfaction. Superior to YakTraks ( the web of springs under foot). These are easier to put on, don't dislocate to come over the front of my boots. and have NOT broken as some cheap version did rather quickly. Cheaper than Katuhlas and just as good.
