the FIRST time i bought this product it came used and it was an older version of it so i returned it and i had to buy it again but honestly its not worth it this product was perfectly fine for the first 2 weeks then after it sometimes wont connect or it’ll disconnect which is so frustrating especially when you are on the freeway and using it for directions. not worth it

If you set up 2 iPhones on the U2Air Pro it will connect to the phone it was last connected to.If both iPhones are in the car, there is no easy way to switch between phones.

I dont know why I didn’t see any reviews talking about the 3 second audio delay, anyways it Does what it says which is make CarPlay wireless but with a very long audio delay…

Simple. I just connected the unit to the head unit usb an outlet and after just two tries, instant wireless CarPlay via Bluetooth! All steering wheel controls work too! I have a 2021 Honda Passport Touring package that did better t have wireless CarPlay, CarPlay was only available via usb a wired connection.Well, thanks to this simple device now I have wireless CarPlay! When I shut the Honda down, I leave the little device connected to the USB port it consumes zero power. When I’m ready to start the vehicle again the little device powers on and within one millisecond connect my iPhone to wireless CarPlay! It’s a little more expensive than the competition out there but you pay for what you get. note I did not have to apply any firmware updates. This worked right out of the box. I’m happy camper.

I have a 2023 Bronco Sport but it didn't come with Wireless CarPlay. I saw this U2Air Pro and decided to try it. It works great. It connects very fast, in fact, probably faster than it did with my phone wired in. It starts right up when I start it up and carplay is loaded in no time. It works just like my wife's built in wireless carplay does. Maybe even better at times.The only real difference is in my dash I see it showing that I'm connected to the OTTO-XXXX device but other than that, it looks and works the same. It seems responsive and I haven't had any issues with it. Setup and install took about 5 minutes. I highly recommend it if you want to get rid of the wired carplay. It makes getting in and out of the car so much easier. I don't have to plug my phone in at all or if I do, it's in a charging port instead of the carplay port.It came with the USB C -USB-C wire and I used that. It's very short but I put the box in the cubby right by the ports. It also came with double sided to tape to mount it if you want. It has a red and blue light on it so you know when it's connected or not. Simple but effective. Highly recommend this thing if you are tired of the wires.

I have done a lot of research on buying a wireless car play adapter. I settled on this one after reading reviews and research. It was so easy to set up. I have a 2021 Ram with 12 inch display. I plugged the device in, hit the sync button and done. My phone recognizes the device pretty much instantly. There is little to no lag time when using my car controls. The volume and sound is good. I leave the device plugged in to my USB-C. So far I am very happy with this device and purchase.

Worked for a few hours out of the box then shut off my car and returned and it didn’t work. Tried everything to get it to connect and it won’t. Definitely don’t recommend. Not worth the high price tag.

I have been using this for a little over a month in a GMC Sierra with an iPhone. I bought this after returning a cheaper brand that was very glitchy. The only reason I am not giving this 5 stars is because every once in a while, the unit seems to get hung up in initialization. Otherwise, it works exactly as you would expect. The startup varies from a few (less than 30) seconds, to almost instantly. If you are looking for wireless CarPlay, skip the cheaper brands (and the more expensive brands). This is the one.

The connectivity is very fast, especially after the firmware update. I tried another one, after reading lot of reviews and online recommendations. I tried and returned because the response was not great. Then I ordered this one. The OTA firmware update was easy but because of poor cell signal in my area, I took the laptop route. I had to attempt multiple times. But once I was able to update the firmware, I could see lot of difference in the connectivity. The only complaint I have is, when we pause a song from our phone, it takes couple of seconds to pause. I am sure they will fix it with another firmware update. Overall, better experience one compared to other adapters. Build quality is also very good. Make sure you get the latest version, the one with a button at the bottom. I now enjoy the wireless charging and wireless car play. A must have accessory.
