Says it works on a BMW 750Li but it clearly doesn’t. I would’ve gladly returned this. But I got very sick and missed the return window. Now I’m left with an ugly paper weight. Had to spend more money getting one that was significantly cheaper that fit perfectly. Very disappointed.

I tried several methods to remove the wiper blades from a 2006 Chrysler minivan. All failed. I stumbled upon this tool and decided to give it a shot after breaking other tools and wasting many hours. It worked like a charm. I did have to coerce it into place because of the plastic cowl, but once I got in place it made short work of popping off the corroded wiper arm. I cannot stress enough how useful this tool is. It was worth every penny.

OTC high quality durable windshield wiper arm removal. Be aware that this will not work for every application as it is has a thick base. Will not distort, bend or break. Pricey but worth having in your tool box for those rare occasions when you have to remove windshield wiper arms. Recommended tool.

I tried so many things to get my rear wiper arm unstuck from my 2019 Ford Exploder. I came close to breaking the wiper motor and breaking the rear glass. Then i read the reviews and gulped hard and paid over $50 bucks to buy this little forged iron specialty tool that i will probably only need about once every 4 years. But after spending probably 4 hours trying everything else, this thing literally popped off the wiper arm in about 7 seconds. Whoever invented this deserves the $50 price tag, because it WORKS! It will pay for itself in avoided-aggravation and avoided window breakage. And I'm sure I can help out friends and family with it, so the cost-per-use will eventually be negligible. It hurt up front, but now that i've used it, i don't regret buying it one bit.

I work on cars regularly and taking off wipers without the proper tools is a nightmare. I bought many different items but I dreaded doing this because of the cosmetic damage that I could not avoid to the cowl. This product changed all that. Slid over the wiper and it came really get off - no damage, no hassle. Amazingly sturdy and solid product. I could not recommend this any stronger - Get it, it’s easily worth the money!

Barely managed to use this 2007 Audi A6, with some spacers. Tight quarters with cowling. No fault of the tool. It appears very heat duty. I’m keeping it.

The Good:- Very solid- Easy to use- Works wellThe Not So Good:- Requires additional equipmentThis is a very heavy duty product and is great for pulling off those stubborn windshield wiper arms. It does require you to have a socket set in order to be used properly. Self-explanatory and simple in design, this product also has some good weight to it so it also feels very sturdy. It is, however, kind of a weird tool so finding a place to store it will be interesting.

After wrestling with screwdrivers and then a small but still unsuitable 3 jaw puller that wouldn't fit under the wiper base I stopped and regrouped. It seemed likely that I would break the wiper transmission before I freed the arm. I love my Saab 9 5 wagon, and I have no desire to break any extra parts on her. So I looked at cheap wiper pullers, the reviews were dubious in terms of longevity. Then I found the OTC heavy duty puller. I decided it looked like it was worth it. Initial inspection upon arrival was very favorable, hefty casting, nice finish and a live center. I put it to work this morning, it performed like a champ. I had applied some rust penetrant a few days ago, that plus this lovely tool made short work of removing the arms. This really is a professional grade tool. I'm looking forward to using it for many years. No regrets whatsoever about its cost or quality.

Haven't had the opportunity to use this yet. Go figure, now I have it, I haven't needed it. It looks well made and durable. Not cheap like some others I've seen. Might be a little bulky in tight areas. Time will tell.Edit: I have used this 3 times now and have had difficulty every time with the vehicle's cowl panel plastic trim. All 3 vehicles were different models. It does work well once you get it in place.

This puller is VASTLY superior to all others out there. Don't waste your money on the cheaper ones. I have had my share of them and they all broke or got all bent out of shape under the torque stress of trying to remove my wipers. I had always assumed that my wipers just seized onto the posts more readily than most and that's just the way it was. This heavy duty puller made the job seriously effortless. I could have turned the wrench with one finger, it was so easy. No broken plastic handles, shredded or stripped bolts, or vice grips to deal with. Just slide it on and barely 1/8 of a turn with the wrench and pop, off comes the wiper. Worth every penny.

Does what its supposed to, but make sure you verify that the lip of the tool is able to go under the wiper arm assembly. Mine barely had enough clearance and the specs weren't posted at time of purchase.

I have used this puller on the wipers of several Saab 9-5 cars that really seem to seize onto the shaft. I previously used a 2-jaw small gear puller with various c-clamps and plier arrangements to keep everything from slipping off, but those generally bent badly and barely worked. This tool fits exactly right, pulls straight, and never seems to walk off of the end of the shaft, successfully pulling the most stubborn wipers. Yay! I suppose that there might be some odd wiper arm design that won't fit between the legs, but all of the ones that I see look compatible. FYI, the critical dimensions are1.43 inches width between the inside of the legs of the puller, and the length of the bolt is 2.5 inches, which may be a factor on some hood designs with low clearance. Overall, this is a great value for a professional quality tool. This is not a cheap piece of bent steel that deforms with the first use.
