I like the kit. I bought a set in 3/8 size that came nicely arranged in a case, and a set of spare inserts. I made one test cut in a steel bar using the W-type trigon tool for both facing and long side, .025-.030 inches depth of cut, and it worked and provided a good finish. The only thing I don't like is that it was made in China.

The tools are great i'm sure the replacement insets will be as good. I wish they came with some spare screws.

These cutting inserts work good for the price they get the job done, but they do not fit the 1/2” holders that they advertise they fit. They fit the 3/8” holders .
