This insert is as sharp as your finger nail, due to it's high dull edge, it VASTLY increases tool pressure on your workpiece and produces one of the ugliest finishes. I do not recommend these inserts.I highly recommend CCMT21.51 CCMT060204 DCMT21.51 from zouzmin on amazon;https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CR96NK91These are nearly razor sharp and provide a near mirror finish, even at a higher DOC than recommended.

They're reasonably priced compared to Kennametal, and work well for hobby use. Not really that great for production use though. They seem to be easily chipped in interrupted cuts, and the cutting edge wears down pretty quickly when used on hard steel. I'm satisfied with them for my purposes, and at their price, I can afford to break/chip one now and then. They can easily be ground and honed for job specific profiles with a diamond wheel and laps.
