Annular Cutters cut only the periphery of the hole,ejecting the remaining center as a slug.It produces accurate burr-free holes to close tolerances without pre-drilling or step drilling.

Attention
- During the drilling process, the pilot pin will retract into the cutter allowing lubrication to reduce heat gain in the slug.
- Insert the ejector pin inside the annular cutter,never use an annular cutter without an ejector pin.
- Using lubricant or coolant with any type of annular cutter is a must. A correct lubrication and coolant delivery more life for annular cutters. HSS annular cutters required Cutting oil, not coolant.

Drilled 70 5/8 holes 1inch thick plate with one cutter. Cutter is still sharp, very good tool.

After drilling multiple holes I haven’t observed any wear. They are extremely sharp and leave a very smooth hole behind. Much better than holesaws or twist drills!

After reading the reviews, I was still a little hesitant about buying these drillbits. But they did the job and they did it well I did not break any. I would definitely recommend these to anyone who is doing frame jobs like I did. 10/10

Just as I figured, at first touch down it just skated on the steel and barely made a cut. I had to put a lot of pressure on the tool to make it cut then it would stall the drill press because I had so much down force. After a few attempts and lots of cutting oil that is as far as it goes, the edge clearly rounded over almost immediately and then it was all over. Piece of junk, maybe only good for cutting plastic and aluminum but not soft steel.
